OK, this is a little off-the-wall, but it's too tuned in to leave off:
Went to my mom's at her new house for dinner on the 4th last night. At the house next door, there is a parrot, and also a dog. You can't see very well over there due to a fence and foliage. I didn't know about the parrot, and it seemed strange when I got out of my car and heard a weird voice saying, "Hello! Hello!" but I figured it out.
Well, the dog is a bit of a barker whenever you go near the fence (which is hard to avoid). So, every time I'd go outside, the dog would start barking. This would prompt the parrot to scold the dog by name. I'd go out, the dog would bark, and the parrot would respond by yelling, "Taco! Taco!" Weird. Sounded just like someone scolding their dog. It even worked. That's just too freaky.

My parents' African Grey parrot screams "It's a cat! It's a cat!" whenever he's bored. The dog promptly goes beserk and bangs its nose against the window, while the parrot sits there chuckling in a quite evil fashion. Seriously, no word of a lie.
