No, Clubber - that was the same first warning, but we can skip to the chase if you insist. I hate to have to inform you, but I actually know more about the "majority" of which you speak than you do. You can't seem to understand it, perhaps because you simply get a snootful and come on here to try to stir up shit. If you are capable, page back and read the aforementioned rules and your demanded explanation, and then shut the fuck up and sleep it off.
This is your second warning. Man, just suit yourself, 'cause you are on your way out of here. I have very long patience, but it has come to an end.
Read the rules. Abide by the rules. They were only necessary because of you and Pissin.
People are going to miss you around here, especially at the Sports board, where you used to actually contribute to conversations. I will too. It's a shame, man.

RulesThis forum is intended to allow maximum freedom of expression and enjoyment for all members. As such, many of the standard rules that are found on most forums do not apply here. That is not to say that there are NO RULES at all. I posted a standard set of rules on the Welcome board, which I borrowed simply as an example for those who may have never read any before. I have refined them slightly here, to better fit our forum. It is up to the board moderator of each board to determine what is appropriate on their board. Please make posts that are appropriate to the board. You will find that on some boards, "anything goes" (almost) and that others are more traditional and stay close to a topic. There will always be some "off topic" posting, though, and that's OK. - No spamming - No posting excessively large pics, size or kb-wise. Try to keep it under 350X350 and a few kb, otherwise it takes a long time to load, which is an annoyance for those with slow modems. (Does not apply to photo or art boards. Actually, this will only be enforced in cases of excessiveness or maliciousness.) - No excessive swearing and shit - No excessive flaming - No insulting the staff pertaining to board management. Constructive suggestions and criticisms are welcome. - No porn and no gory pics - No malicious disruptions of boards - No insults to members on grounds of religion, race, sexual orientation, etc. - No Santa Worship, real or satirical. Aside from being offensive to many, this can get the site attacked or shut down - No assumed or 'fake' multiple identities for troll purposes There is some flexibility to these rules; they are intended as a guideline. Common sense and courtesy are your best guides. [edit: I made a few more refinements] this is it right? can i make a retort or is that a justified banning? |

Yes, Phil, we can still say anything we want. I thought with the quality of people we have here, it wouldn't be too difficult to understand the reason for the "Santa worship" rule" - but perhaps I was mistaken. It involves computer things like search engines and scripting programs that target certain phrases, so when some clan of actual Santa Worshippers (or fanatical Christians) decides they are offended, they can track us each down and cut our livers out and eat them... Or maybe just attack our site and get it deleted... Either way, is it really necessary? I mean, if the phrase should come up in a normal post, that's cool, but what the fuck is your problem, Clubber?

I mean have we ever had even remotely this sort of problem? As far as I can tell people have trouble finding these boards without directions and I bet if any satanists do show they'll look for you first for suggesting they're all cannibal psycopaths. ;D |
