Hmmm . . .I'm starting to think mayhaps we should change the name of this message board forum from "RScastaways" to "Thorn & Pissin's Place" . .. . . where is everyone?!
Maybe Shane'll drop by soon.
Dude! Crank up Mesmerize and realize its greatness! It is far more focused, savage, and hilarious (not to mention meaningful while still retaining playfulness) than Steal This Album!! But I will say this: I am going to go home today and give Steal This Album a good listen, since I've practically worn out my copy of Mesmerize, and to tell the truth, I don't think I ever gave Steal This Album a thorough-enough listen. It's cool though that there are now five distinct and seperate SOAD discs to load into a 5-disc-player & put on shuffle! If it isn't already perfectly obvious to you that SOAD are the true successors to RATM's throne of antiestablishment rocking, then what the hell are you thinking man! SOAD RULE!

They will reach dizzying heigths the likes RATM never dreamed possible.
Speaking of rage. . . . . WTF happened to Zack?!?!? I'm thinking he's been covertly assasinated, and his death covered up . . . I mean, wtf? Where's the solo-effort from NOTHING records? I been lookin forward to that shit for too long now. . . .

Yeah well I meant "NOW" as in "2005" -- jumped the gun a bit. . . . *as of Sept* there'll be 5 discs in the SOAD canon . . . and that will kick ass for all 5-disc Player Shuffle Addicts.

yeah well mine holds 51! And I got another that holds 5! So that makes 56! If you add my sony discman that makes 57 discs on 3 seperate players! And I got this cheapo 1-disc box, so that makes 58! And I got *2* Dual Cassette players! That's 62 modalities! And then I got my kickass Record Player, byotch! Have you got yours yet? That's 63 albums I can play, on 3 different formats! Also I got my Computer, with it's CD drive! That makes 64, and I actually got *3* computers, so that makes a Grand Total of 66! And you thought you were better than me.

I didn't get my record player yet. I been dropping hints though, since my birthday is real soon. All that happened was my dad yelled at me for not calling it a turntable.

I don't know how frances the mute sounds to begin with. All I know is if I see them live, the singer is getting pegged with a water bottle. Just out of spite.

But they're incredible live. Insane freakish psychedelic energy. Nonstop jamming. I'll bet they put up their best effort opening for the monstrously great System. And then System will come onstage and blow em away anyhow. (That's just how it works, Cedric: settle down)

Yeah, besides the fact that System was tight as hell, it was also one of the funnest shows I've been to.

That's the key thing about SOAD: how they don't take themselves too seriously. And somehow, they manage to come off far more serious than other bands who do.
