In the seventies all you heard was "Foreplay this" and "Foreplay that". All the titty mags wanted to send you on a guilt trip if you weren't willing to ante up some cuddling before takin' a ride. That's how I remember it, and to this day my I experience tremendous psychological issues as a result of my inability to abide by those rules.
Recently I have been exposed to pornography that was made in the last few years. Amateur porn, to be specific, none of this glitzy shit where the "stars" dress up and rehearse acceptance speechs on the off chance that they will win an Adult Film Industry Award for "Best Blowjob in a Nature Setting".
No, this was the real deal. Hot and heavy. Grunts, groans, squeals, heavy breathing (VERY HEAVY BREATHING), the sound of skin slapping skin, punctuated by various bodily fluids that have somehow made their way to points of entry, the disorienting sound of gagging followed by cries of "I love it" then more gagging.
I don't know how I made myself watch it.
But the point I'm getting to is this. There was no foreplay in any of the films I saw. The closest they came to anything resembling foreplay was when the guy behind the camera asked for the girls age and she said "I'm 18" and he said "Let's see some of that 18 year old ass" and she showed it to him and then three naked guys came out and one of them gave her a hug and a tug on the left breast and then it was off to the race track they went.
So, my question, and understand that it is coming from a 45 year old geezer who has been pretty much out-of-the-loop in regards to sexual etiquette (the wife and I having come to a mutual agreement on the subject), IS FOREPLAY A THING OF THE PAST? Or has the sexual act evolved to the point where what we used to consider foreplay is considered to be of less importance than a kiss on the cheek at the end of a first date? Is "first base" in 2008 the equvalent of "third base" is 1978?
You see where I'm heading.
So get your vote on, gold diggers.
