That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Although, I would never sell my air guitar.

tracy: have you checked out Explosions in the Sky? Metric? you should also give Broken Social Scene a second look. I assume you have Postal Service, but if you dont', get it. I'm also quite fond of the Stills album lately, but they sound kinda like Interpol, and i know you're not into that.

As for philosophers, I'm afraid I'm not up-to-par w/most of em at this statge in my life -- but I can highly recommend the russian philosopher/mystic Peter Ouspensky. He was way ahead of his time, and quite the original thinker. Along the lines of Gurdjieff - another mystic I've skimmed through, and intend to delve much deeper into when I get the chance. There's a new book about Gurdjieff written by one of my favorite authors John Shirley: head's up to the devotees.

Uh oh, do we need a new weird board de-mystification week?
ahahaha, that air guitar story is awesome.
Results of last night's Barons game, 25 cent hot dog night: 14 guys, 80+ hot dogs, and one guy set the new record at 11. Also another guy had a dance off with the Babe Ruff mascot dog and I nearly peed my pants laughing. The dog won, of course.
