There's that Syd-era floyd tune "The Gnome" . . . (who's name was "Grimbol Crombul", but who knows what the spelling is really supposed to be. . . : "Grimble" ... etc)
It just popped into my head, for no reason. . . .

Maybe you should just name it . . . CONAN. The Destroyer.

Rocky, I wrote a birthday song for you. Its called 'Rock-Rock-Rocky' & its essentially a rip off of Led Zep's Heartbreaker, except the last chorus which is lifted entrely from Spoonman.

Its because Rocky was stripped of his noble title. I did all I could to save him, but alas, it was not enough.

I'd like to go to an American Thanksgiving dinner one day. It seems like its just another sort of Christmas day, where you sit around with your family eating & drinking & then you fall asleep in front of the TV holding your bloated gut & wondering why you went for fourth helpings.
If so, Thanksgiving sounds good.

it ain't all that. i suppose it depends on the fam. my fam currently thinks i'm going to hell for leaving the mormon church. they feel that i'm judging them because i don't share their beliefs. it's bags of fun.

Just being part of family should be enough for acceptance ...
Just my stupid thought on the subject ... Nevermind !!

not really. being a part of family means accepting what's the traditions of the family as well. there's no particular reason why the parents should accept their deviant son/daughter if he/she contravenes everything they stand for.
I mean, it's really a no-brainer. Demanding expectations like those work both ways.

i may empathize with (for example) Sisyphus' irreligious attitude to life, that doesn't mean her folks are automatic demons for rejecting her independant conclusions. they are who they are, and you ought to have the courage to see your convictions through to its end, replete with any ostracisms u may incur.
