speaking of American Idol...
I don't know if anyone read my post about Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran fame being in the Debate about the Idol phenomenon. He said: "This generation will say to itself in 20 years' time: "We had Pop Idol and Starbucks." A sad indictment "
Well as a twist of fate...
World Idol winner Kurt Nilsen has covered Duran Duran's "Ordinary World" on his debut album, out now on BMG.
Wonder what Nick thinks about that?

I had to watch the SERIES finale of Angel... so now the Buffy Franchise is done.  The Smallville SEASON finale was very interesting. A lot went down that makes it seem like there might not be another season. |

I bet Wacko had a big hissy fit when he heard that...especially since Clive Davis refused him a contract with J Records!

He was the only reason I even watched it Because he's been on for a while, and as usually happens with SNL performers who are good, he's decided to leave to persue a film career. Truth be told, I think he's really going to be persuing an Olsen twin in about a month. |

Hilarious... I do love that skit with the disc jockey. That has to be hard switching voices like that. I liked that skit the first time, but it started to annoy me, only because he'd do virtually the same thing with every guest host. But he and Tina rock at Weekend Update. I think the thing I like the best about him is that he didn't make a big deal of his exit. As far as I know, it wasn't announced before Saturday's show, and then, he just mentioned it in passing at the end of Weekend Update, and that was it. He knows the show is bigger than him, and that's cool. |

I like Jimmy, I am sad he is going :-( But I guess he needs to do what he needs to do. I'm sorry are the Olsen Twins really that hot? I still think they look kind of weird. I've always complained that I think I still look 12, but those girls SERIOUSLY do. To me they look more R. Kelly's flavor than Jimmy's.
