Unless of course Rick's tickets cost something like $5. Just enough so he could get himself a warm meal. Only then are you forgiven. You're a mere "senior member" ... you have no rights to deem forgiveness!

You actually touched Rick? I suppose this means you and your friend were the only ones in the audience. BTW, my 'Senior Member' status is a temporary thing. I'll be with the rest of the 'Gods' in no-time.

It takes nothing, beyond going to a show, to touch the man whore these days. He is so desparate to re-live the glory days where women actually wanted him (before he got old and wrinkly and women found out that he beats his wife from time to time) that he goes out into the audience for a few songs. He even makes it a point to tell people not to pinch his butt before he heads out (as in ... PLEASE pinch my butt, make me feel wanted again) Then he walks around on top of the chairs, where fat old women go racing go get close to him. I was mocking the whole thing, when he came walking along and stood on the chairright in front ofme. I was more concerned about not being trampled by the fat middle-aged women who came racing over to our area than i was touching the man whore. But my friend grabbed my arm and forced me to touch him ... she figured I'd be sorry later if I didn't. Personally, I think there are probably a few women out there who are sorry they touched him too much ... at least when they had to go to the doctor to deal with that nasty problem afterwards.

Chrisfan, I was reading in the paper this morning that your favourite soccer captain (Theo Zagorakis) was voted by Greek women as the 'Sexiest Greek Athlete'. I immediately thought of you.

But wait a minute ... you said you immediately thought of me. Does that mean there are actually moments in your day when you're NOT thinking of me???

I read that he's 33 yrs old, enjoys fast cars and has dated a string of bimbos. In other words, your average Greek man.

Let's take a vote ... what does everyone think the likelihood of my losing 8-10 pounds in 3 weeks is?

8-10 pounds, is what, 4-5 kilos? I'd say that depends on your current weight. If you're slightly more overweight than usual I'd say it's quite easy. Provided of course, you stopped eating and exercised daily for a couple of hours.

I was doing a really good job losing weight for a while. Then I moved, and got off track. I've been maintaining, but i want to lose a bit more. Since I"m going to the beach in 3 weeks, I'm thinking I can use that as my inspiration ... especially because my sister is working hard to have her pre-baby body back by then, and i can't let her outdo me. It's all a matter of whether or not I'm willing to stay away from ice cream ... and McDonalds doesn't make it easy to do that. The exercise is a piece of cake. I go walking almost every night. I just need to get back to doing the crunches when i get home from walking. I could do the whole no-carbs thing, and I'd lose it with no problem, but I don't want to go there. LEt's just do this ... any time I start talking about ice cream, you guys start talking about the Dandy Warhols so I get totally bored by having nothing to post ... that'll be good punishment for me.

I don't really understand the passion for ice cream some people have.
I like to have an ice cream maybe once or twice a year, like on the first really, really hot day of the year, and maybe one other hot day.
But I don't get people that eat it even when it's cold outside, or that have to have it every day.

I know...every time you want to eat some ice cream just picture Rick Springfield.

And speaking of the Dandy Warhols, have you guys seen that commercial that uses a rewrite of their song "Bohemian Like You"? It is soooo cheesy, I don't even remember what it's for. I think it's for a credit card or something.

Now if you're going to punish me when I haven't even done anything wrong, then I'll end up gaining 20 lbs.
