I totally agree with you there Shammy. Even if I were to visit a neighbour I'd call first and usually wait to be invited. I expect the same in return. TOTALLY!!!! I now have a neighbor that used to talk to me every time I went outside. He would even make a point to walk the dog when he saw me drive up. About a week ago I was leaving for work and I usually back out of my door so that the cats won't run out.... he was letting his dog piss and I didn't see them. His dog barked really loud and I said "Oh... that scared me". Every since then he makes wise cracks to his dog, like "lets go inside before you hurt someone", or "don't scare him". I just let it go... but it is really really annoying now. The more I thought about it... it is a good thing because now I don't have to worry about him ever popping in. ;D FAG!!!

Duran Duran continue working on their new album, due out in October, and have most recently teamed up with producer Dallas Austin (Pink, Janet Jackson). "This is an incredible experience, you can't pay for the history," Austin said in a statement. "I am a word-for-word, lyric-for-lyric fan. They are all super musicians! And we're all Astronauts!" ("Astronaut" is the title of one of the tracks the band is working on with Austin). The album also features songs the '80s heartthrobs worked on with producer Don Gilmore (Good Charlotte, Linkin Park). "Duran Duran really like to experiment," Gilmore said in a statement. "They don't like to do things the conventional way." One of Gilmore's tracks with the band is called "Still Breathing." ...

Freeloaders fucking suck. Don't parents teach their brats manners these days? What's wrong with asking in advance? Of course, even then I'd have to come up with an excuse which more or less is the same. But at least have the fucking courtesy, bloody wanker!

I don't blame you, but maybe you should just give him the wrong address or tell him your leaving town or something.

As for Bjork, I can't say that I love her or loathe her either. It's just that I can't hear her music for an extended period of time. It just gets old real quick. Like Enya I suppose, but nowhere near as bad as that cow!

Vespertine was prettty smooth listening, but some of her vocals can grate on your nerves pretty easy. Now Enya.... one song is plenty... and I mean plenty. LOL

I can't give a wrong address since that's flat out cruel.. and there's no way to avoid him since he's got my cell no. I think I'll go with the 'leaving town' excuse... even though that's kind of stupid considering where I work. I'll probably just BS him that they've sent me to the Rowing Finals which are going to be held outside of the city. I think it's about a 2hr drive. My only fear is... freeloader's usually don't stop at anything to avoid spending an extra buck on accomodation. The good thing is, hotel prices have actually dropped since they were sky-high up until a few months ago and people weren't willing to pay so much money. Apparently you can get yourself a room dirt cheap now.

Kool, don't try to lie your way out of hte freeloader. If you do, you'll get caught, and it'll screw you. Just tell him you don't have the space, and will be busy enough during that time that you just can't deal with visitors. Then, send him a list of a couple of recommended hotels. That way you're saying no, being honest, but not being mean ... even through he's a freeloader and deserves mean treatment, but you're above that. Confidential to Shammy: I guess this blows our plan to go to the games and surprise Kool with the news that we're staying with him out of the water. Oh well.

I can be a lying prick if I'm pushed far enough by someone ignorant. I think I'll go with the lie. I made the stupid mistake of mentioning a few months ago that this apartment was equipped with 2 bedrooms and a spare matress. So I'm screwed any way you look at it. I suppose I could also say I subleted the place to a wealthy Japanese family because I needed the money for my return ticket. ;D

BTW, now that the cat is out of the bag... don't go getting any ideas people. I'm sure you can still get full refunds for your tickets at this point.
