Chocolates aren't really 'food' imo. They're just a quick buzz for the taste buds. I'd take a nice meal over the fanciest of chocolates any day. Even white chocolate. White chocolate is NOT chocolate. And IMHO there's no such thing as too much chocolate ... esp. dark chocolate ... [drool] mmmmm choooocolaaaate ... [/drool]

I can't stand dark chocolate. I really can't undertand how anyone can like such a bitter tasting 'sweet'. White chocolate on the other hand, is just plain orgasmic. Especially Toblerone's version of it.

I'm developing a taste for dark chocolate. When you're looking for a sweet treat like Hershey's, it certainly doesn't do the trick. But when you get into some of the more gourmet uses for chocolate, dark without question outshines everything else.

Making peppermint bark today and that takes white chocolate. Meh, neither excite me really.
I have been cleaning for three hours straight. I did stop for a few minutes to break my neighbors snow blower, but other than that.....

So are you making the peppermint bark as an "I'm sorry I broke the snowblower" gift for the nieghbors?
Here's a quesiton that I have been pondering for a long time (although probably not as long as my Alexander and the Terrible Horrible / Australia befuddling) ... Ken rightly stated above that white chocolate is not chocolate. So what is it?

I have no clue. I ended up buying "white bark", whatever that is. Even the two ladies at check out didn't know what it was. Should be fine. Making Red Velvet cookies right now.

Did they have any almond bark by chance? My mom has a great cookie/candy recipe using almond bark, but I can never find it around here. She ends up buying it in Florida and mailing it to me.

I feel like it's my birthday today, even though it's not. I just found a website that puts up a different episode of You Can't Do That on Television every week. I'm so excited! I was looking at the site, reading about the show, wishing that it were on DVD orsomething so I could see it again. Then I found where they post episodes right there!!!!! I just finished watching this week's. No one got slimed though. THat kind of sucked.

When I was a little kid, the thing that most divided me from my parents was my desire to watch that show, and their desire to stop me from watching it (mostly because it often incited me and my brother I to dump things on each other's heads). True story.

Where's the site? I love that show.
Got Pete and Pete on DVD the other day. Greatest show EVER. And as soon as Salute Your Shorts gets back in stock, it's fucking mine.

My mom never understood why I loved that show so much (neither did my sister) but she never tried to stop me from watching it. I probably convinced her by telling her that it was on Nick, so it was safe.
There were a lot of things that were missing from the episode they have posted now - none of hte jokes between the lockers, no slime. But i had forgotten about just how many skits they did - the classroom, the detention, the firing squad. But the burger guy who made the disgusting food was in there!

Did you see the recent pictures of Lisa and Kevin? Holy cow have they changed! Moose looked exactly the same though. I thought it was kind of funny that they said she had to wear a wig for the entire last season she was on, because she'd cut her hair into a very punk-looking style.
