Dear Amy Fisher,
You are indeed right - it is time for you and the Butafucco's to put all of your adventure behind you. Please do. The rest of us have. Only unfortunatley, we are forced to re-live it every time that one of you writes a book, does an interview, or appears on TV. Please stop. When you do, it'll be behind you. Until you do, you're nothing but a famewhore - a not very famous famewhore. That is kind of pathetic.
So please, feel free, put this behind you. But this time, please make it for good.
Regards, Chrisfan

I loved when Joey Buttafuoco beat the shit out of Chyna on Celebrity Boxing.
Why the hell don't they run more episodes of that? Best show EVER.

This just in ... we're about to have one less broadcast network. WB and UPN are merging.

So, did anyone watch 24 last night?
Hopefully tonight...it's on the DVR. I had one glass of my cheap Dago Red yesterday night and boom, fell asleep on the couch...and now there's a stiff neck too, which I guess I'll have to fix myself, eh?

Wine puts me out everytime, but I still love it.... You're in for a good one when you watch last night's episode. It's maybe the best of the season so far....

You are both wrong. Scrubs is the finest piece of hospital-based TV ever. It's so obvious. Scrubs is good, occasionally very good. There's far too much cod-philosophy voice-over shit though. It's also not consistently funny enough. M*A*S*H was great but come on folks, the human race progresses. Next you'll be saying Led Zeppelin are still relevant.

24's still runnin' hot so far this season. Have to say the character I'm digging most at the moment is Chloe. Her first appearance a couple years ago didn't do much more than annoy me with her flakiness but now it's more realized & she's all unto her own. Probably would have helped to have seen her development over last season.....I'm thinking that's she going to hook up with the fat guy on this one.
And if 24's steaming, FX's The Shield is just plain gettin' ready to boil over! This week's final scene with Mackey coming face-to-face with the IAD guy who's out to bring him down was a perfect 'wolf circling wolf' situation. 24 may be a rollercoaster ride, but The Shield is the whole fuckin' amusement park: noisy, grimey, head jerkin' 3-ways at once, and a permanent odor in the air of something being cooked up just not quite right. Looking way forward in watching this one play out!

Never seen either of those. I have also never watched The West Wing and I have to co-lead a discussion in class on a chapter that relates to it. It is just hard to commit to dramas for some reason.
Now - how about a show that REALLY matters.......................Wife Swap.

I am convinced that show is satan served up on a cracker.
I can't say I really know what that means ... but it seems to be the adequate description.

That show so does not rule. You know that I enjoy my trashy tv as much as the next guy, but that just takes it to such a bad bad bad level. Making people miserable and tearing apart their lives is NOT entertaining.

I love it. They sign up for it so they deserve whatever they get. I think it's all a big scam for the most part - but still good fun.

Yes they sign up for it. But they sign up to trade families for a week. That does not necessarily mean "trade families with the most polar opposite offensive to you family you could ever imagine". At this point, anyone who has seen what they do and signs up for it is stupid. But the peole who signed up just thinking they'd be the sloppy mom in the neat house, when they ended up as the black mom with a racist family instead ... that's just horrendous TV. THAT is the kind of TV that makes Mantis justified to write off all reality TV.
