And you and me, soon enough. Damn. I really think they should be establishing euthanasia factories. They say you spend half the money you spend during your entire LIFE during the last year in the hospital before you die.

Actually Torso, I was thinking you were a closer match for the lead dude in Starsailor since you're so fond of them.

well, we're both obviously chronic-natural-light-avoiders, samples. the paleness can be attributed to english/welsh/german blood on my part, though. not just 'ahh, don't let me near the light'. well, a bit of both, really. honestly, this is all a bit of a kick in the pants. i'm learning to couple excessive internet use with paleness, because every single american i have met on campus has tanned skinned and wears shot demin shorts in the middle of winter and complains about lack of something or other in australia. no american football, we don't have gap stores here in australia, blah blah blah. while, today i have learnt you're all pale as hell. the things rollingstone teaches you! mellie is tanned and has short demin shorts though but she's so adorable, your head will roll. she has some great 3am drunk kat pics for anyone whose interested that's the one thing that sucked about the trip that mellie/scott/maarts made to sydney. i didn't get any incriminating photos, whilst they all seemed to get really embarrassing shots. meh. mary, i know this sounds corny, but i pictured you with glasses. don't know why. love the hair with the red in it, btw. stratman, i pictured you with more...i don't know actually. but you're completely different than what i expected. roc doc, you're so freaking ambigous, i had no idea what to guess. strawman, you look like a true blood kiwi. it's frigging amazing. if you ever trek over to skidders within the next few, yell out. we should meet up.

The Tim Robbins thing...it's not a full-on picture of me for one...twisted body(after the petanque release...excellent Phil! Heh.), wearing sunglasses, chin obscured....but I DO have the forehead, hair and height for it...tho I'm 6'2", not Robbins' 6'4". But we kvetch... Actually(and FWIW), there's a 40-ish librarian at one of my libraries here who's convinced that I resemble David Bowie...my only question is, at which stage? I sure don't have his early-career teeth thank god! Yup, the Louvre last September in one of my favorite cities ANYwhere...watched a bit of petanque being played in the shadow of the Tour Eiffel...but have only played it a few times in my backyard. Whoa, excellent game! Did the French steal it from the Italians or vice versa I wonder... ...and, shit Phil, I've got the Zappa pics, parts one AND two(with 3 years in betw)in an envelope on the computer desk at home....STILL the scanner's nearly a complete mystery...ahem. ~ Hold those wonderful thoughts, samples!!! ~ ...and kat, at risk of sounding likre someone's dad, DO take care of yourself...tho, I swear I had periods of my life where I just had to get that sort of shit out of my system too. Thr trick is to still survive the extreme 'fun' you're having...

HA HA! It's just the hair with the long bangs, Torso.
I wish I could find my old high school I.D. photo from about 10th grade -- in that one, I'm a dead ringer for M.P. The hair and dimples were dead-on. Not so much anymore.

samples -- That's the first pic I've seen of you ever! You have no reason to dislike your looks from what I see. I know you said red is not your natural hair color, but it seems to suit you.

Tuneschick appears to be a babe, though hard to tell from just a profile view. We need more pics! Haha! Er, thanks Howe. I actually don't have any more shots of me on my computer right now (cleaned out my drive at work and my Yahoo album is crazily screwed up) but I'll try to get on that soon.

kats, I don't know whether to think "alright!", or "oh fuck!" ;)
Doc, I can now say that my mental picture of you was completely fucked up! Nothing bad at all, just completely different! :)

stratman, it's not a bad thing. i'm sure plenty of people pictured me with a pitchfork and the correct corresponding amount of fire. not that that's what i pictured you as...basically, what you just said to roc doc, reverse that and that's what i thought. rnr, i'm cool. you don't sound like my dad, that's for sure. strawman, have fun in brisbane. i don't know. too much sun there for me. i don't like it. i have an aunty who lives murwillbah area (down in between byron and tweed, but more inland) and she lives on a huge mountain overlooking mt warning. i love northern new south wales, but just don't like brisbane. i'll be finally seeing adelaide soon enough, which will be great! if i don't get killed.

unfortunately kats, I'm going there for work...believe it or not thats where we train the future leaders of the NZ Fire Service, and I have managed to con an instructors job which means I'll probably be in Brisbane twice a year.....I'll have to extend a stay and visit Sydney....
Still have to ride the trucks in between times, so I get the best of both worlds...little sabbaticals every so often as things become mundane!!
