Bien sur.... I imagined Phil with long hair and ditto beard...a bit more 'Bourgondier'! Have you got a pic of yourself JAC? I can't for the life of me make any sort of picture of you.

Two seasons ago, two friends and I started a tradition of getting dressed up in maize and blue thrift store suits for the big Michigan football games. Here's me (on the right) and my friend Pat at least season's Michigan v. Ohio State game (Pat couldn't find his shirt and tie so he painted one on).

I was gonna post a different picture of me, but I couldn't figure out a good way to crop my ex-girlfriend out of it.

Rocky -- somehow, you and Phil both manage to look exactly like you write. Good trick ... now post those pics of your ex-girlfriend!

Rocky- You using Imagetown? I had the same problem as you did. What I had to do was save my jpegs as gifs or bmps. I did it in Paint, guess you can do it however. But that's what keeps the pics so huge- it's the jpeg thing.

Great pics, all! What fun!
Yes, that's one way to do it, luke - but you basically want to note the file size and/or image size. Jpeg or whatever, you can open them in your favorite photo editing program and reduce the resolution to 72 or 150 ppi, max. Higher than that is wasted on the web anyhow. You can also manipulate the image dimensions. You can edit them, and then upload them to imagetown. I think the stretch gets repaired automatically, daily, but I'm not sure. It's no big deal anyway - we are all very patient while the 900Kb files download...! Rocky, you young rascal! I didn't even know you were an amputee!
OK, I'm ready to put up a few more now...

Took me a minute to figure out what you meant there, but wow, yeah, that oversized suit jacket does make me look a little chop-chop, eh?

A heritage moment...This is my maternal grandfather in 1919, in front of his ambulance in WWI. Phil, I believe I mentioned him during one of our spirited and enjoyable historical discussions at RS. He served with France until the US entered the conflict, then transferred to a US outfit. Note the leggings and gasmask.

This log house was built by my great-great granddad of the same name in 1861. It still stands, and you could live in it now. It's covered with cypress siding; inside you can see the hewn timbers. Man, if I had to make my own house out of stone and logs, I'd die of exposure, I think.
