Wow straw! A fellow firefighter! It's a pleasure to meet you. I went to your dept's web site and looked around a bit...very cool. You asked if our new rig was a 50 footer...it's actually a 75 footer. We have a 100 foot bucket at station 1. Our new rig is nice, but after being on a regular engine company for so many years, having to do ladder company operations at times is quite a change. Here's a link to our dept. website, feel free to take a look around if you want. inet.baycitymi.org/fire/

Just found this picture floating around the internet. I was very heavily into martial arts from the age of 8 until I went off to college. This picture is shortly before I started college, so 1999 or 2000 or so. I'm third from the right in the first row of people standing.

nicwe pics! i meant to comment on phil's and maarts' last time I was on.
but really, it is nice to match faces and start erasing the images in my head that are wrong (Phil with Harry Potter glasses? 'fraid not.)...and my, my, don't we have a fine looking bunch of posters??
but I apparently am not going to be able to ever post pictures. I already went down this road. fuckit!
i tried two? nights ago to scan in some photos I deemed decent, some I had taken that are cute and are for the other board and I was really excited to post them. and a few for this board to show off some idiotic pictures of myself...anyway, last time I used this scanner things were FINE. but of course now when I scan a pic, it's so SMALL, I uploaded to snapfish and they were still really small, totally can't tell what's going on...bah.

Here's my guitars. The sunburst body is an American Strat, the blue body is a Mexican Strat. img.imagetown.net/13044246.jpg[/img]This is me on my way to stardom...I think we all know how that turned out! (This would have been 1970). Gotta dig that haircut, eh?

OK I'll try. But when I tried to upload this as a gif instead of a jpg, it came out all weird and discolored and made me look like a crazy monster with giant black circles around my eyes (i don't want anyone to think i'm taking the whole goth thing that far)... so i'm worried this is going to come out completely enormous. also you may have already seen this if you ever looked at my yahoo photo album. i don't have many new pics. i'm camera-shy. all the same, you can see the new(ish) red streaks in my hair here. (the one on my left is less visible cause it's braided) and no, i'm not wearing a strange hat, that's on the counter behind me:

If that's not a hat Mary, is that a result of the NIN braid incident?

maarts asked me to post some photos of my ugly mug here the other day...It's not that I've been reluctant to do so, it's just that I don't have all that many pictures of myself on the computers hard drive and my digital camera needs new batteries... But I remembered that I had a couple floating about at the Yahoo Photos site, and so I uploaded 'em and here they are... This photo is REALLY old...If memory serves, I think it was taken in 1989 or 1990, so that dates it at about 15 years (back before I started wearing a beard year-round). It's me and Stacie, approximately 5 years before we got married. Many of you have already seen this photo, as I used it in my RS Profile a few years ago. The dog is Simba, and he is not dead, only sleeping. I no longer where those particular eyeglasses, but the rest of me has changed little since this photo was taken in 2001.
