Trish Stratus, WWE Women's Champion That ass is ridiculous. She's actually a pretty good wrestler, too.

Your scene makes me so jealous. Asshole. If it makes you feel any better, the scene is dying. It's really only a shadow of what it was about three years ago. There are only three Detroit bands I'm really into at this point (the White Stripes, Blanche, and Thunderbirds Are Now!) and maybe one more I would get back into if they started playing again (the Go). And the Stripes are really only kind of part of the scene now (they still have some of the local bands open for them and stuff, and you'll occassionally see them out at shows when they aren't on tour, but they rarely play here anymore--certainly not more than they play any other large city--and of course they don't play any of the smaller venues anymore). Other than that, there are a lot of shitty bands trying to latch onto it, and a few bands that used to be good but lost whatever it was that made them good before. And, although I know this is just going to make me sound like an asshole, but the scene has developed to a point right now where there are just a ton of people going to the shows now who you never would have seen there a couple years ago and are just trying to latch on (seriously though, there's a band from Toledo, Ohio called the Soledad Brothers. Great, great live band that were kind of part of the Detroit scene. They only play like once a year now though, probably not even that much. Last time I saw them there were people there wearing Dave Matthews and Limp Bizkit shirts and stuff. I'm glad people came out to see Soledad, but there's no way those people really got it). So the shows aren't as good as they were, plus they're way more packed, and, to top it all off, the central place in the scene, the Magic Stick, has totally jacked up all their booze prices. Still some good shows to see sometimes, but man, I really miss how it used to be. I'm pretty glad that I was around for all of it though. It never got as big as a lot of people thought it would (yeah, the Stripes are huge, and the Von Bondies had a brief moment in the national spotlight, but a lot of people around Detroit really thought that it was going to take over the world like early-'90s Seattle), but it was really exciting for a little while there. I definately feel lucky to have been part of that. Driving down I-94 from Ann Arbor to Detroit to go see some great bands at the Magic Stick or the Lager House with whoever felt like coming along...those are some of my best memories from college). I even got to see the White Stripes at the Magic Stick once, before they were way too huge to play there. Shit, that's one I'm going to be telling my kids about.

With Austin going down the tubes, there's really no "scene" in the South anymore. It's depressing...
But I think the whole Urban Outfitters/Pitchfork/Hipster's Handbook kids coming up nationwide are a bunch of little fuckfaces who stink up the scene with their absolute douchebaggedness. What ever happened to the big dumb jocks who used to beat those kids up before they could catch too much of an ego? Everything sucks.

And yeah...even if you're not into the buxom blonde thing, you have to appreciate Trish's ass on some sort of physical specimen level... Look at the way that bootie refuses not to be the star even in this frontal pic:

Atlanta is probably getting Essence Fest this year from New Orleans, that's for sure...but I haven't heard anything too big out of there recently. Guess Patten may know a bit about that. Okay, a little more Trish Stratus and I'm off to bed. Remember, folks, like most good pro wrestlers, she's 100% Canadian.

I'm usually not one for the California blond type, but yeah, Mary, the ass. It is a physical work of art. Maybe Mary would bang Lita. She's quite the high flyer And her butt's not too shabby, either.
