How Can ANYONE not like this song?

School's Out is a near-perfect rock song...but to like it, you have to flat out looove rock and roll and the abandon that that song represents. Cooper's had lots of songs like that, incl 'I'm 18', 'Under My Wheels'...and I personally believe it's largely his vocals that get the material across. He screeches and strains at just the right moments, with his band doing those monster hooks extremely effectively, primed by Bob Ezrin's always crystalline production...

I deleted the Ramones' version of 'Needles & Pins' when I was dubbing myself a cassette copy of the 'End Of The Century' album a long long (pre-CD) time ago...I felt it didn't fit with the intensity of the rest of that fantastic Spector-produced album...

Dude, you just drew a parallel between the Soledad Brothers and AC/DC. That is INSANE.

I love Soledad sooooooooooooo much though. Among the best live bands out there today. Not groundbreaking by any means, but they are just so incredibly good at what they do. The way that Johnny Walker plays the slide guitar just kicks my ass every single time.
