OK guys, sorry about the delay, work and life interfered with more important matters ...
But my jury trial setting for this morning has been reset for March 1, 2006 (the coordinator asked two attorneys if we wanted our next settings in January, February, or March ... guess what we opted for! Maybe the arresting officer will have moved on to other things by then ... 'cause that's about the only way I'm going to win this case. But the client still thinks he wants a trial, so it's my job to get him one. Eventually.)
Anyway, I'll be working on adding up the remaining albums over the next day or so. Results will be forthcoming this week. Really. (And the next time I do a poll on top LPs, it's gonna be limited to clearly defined categories, and no more than, I dunno, ten per poster! Fucking top 25, set your own limits, no two lists contain the same albums bullshit. Whose idea was this anyway?! Oh yeah ...)

Ken, just a quick suggestion. Why not take everyone's top 10 [ignoring positions 11-25] and make a top 25 out of that? Chances are with the variety posted here you could still make a top 50. Just a thought...

Hmmm ... only add in the top tens, at least for now ... might work. I haven't given up on this, yet, but that might be a way to get to some sort of results in a reasonably timely fashion now.

Aah Powerage...you're only the second person here who's given props to that absolute classic. Ol Shane Simpson was the other.
It was my AC / DC pick for Ken's poll here, and much as I love it, it is SO close to being a toss-up with Let There Be Rock with it's Problem Child ('...and my mother HATES me...') and Whole Lotta Rosie and Dog Eat Dog...but then Riff Raff (fr Powerage) trumps just about every other of their somgs, ever...and there's Sin City.

Ya know, since I (still) haven't gotten this damn thing calculated, and we may be having some more (old) friends pop in now, I'm gonna reopen this ballot.
You can change your old vote if you want to, JUST DO IT IN A NEW POST! I'm not gonna go back and read through god knows how many pages just to see if you switched AC/DC albums or moved Achtung Baby into your top ten. But if you post after Paul's post (above) with a new list, that one will replace your original list in my spreadsheet.
And I'm gonna leave the balloting open for one more week ... it'll close next Thursday at 6:00 p.m. mountain time, exactly seven days from now.
And then, I promise I'll get the damn list compiled and posted here w/in 72 hours!
Deal?

Nice, I love that freakin' album... I get sick of people only knowing BIB or Shook Me All Night Long; it seems way too many don't even know Bon Scott era AC/DC. I love every last one of the albums they put out w/ Bon, but Powerage is the best. Do you have If You Want Blood? The live version of "Riff Raff" is soooo good. Powerage was the first album w/ Cliff Williams on bass, and he IMO, was able to get into a better groove w/ Malcom and Angus.

As soon as I saw the cover of If You Want Blood, THAT was enough for me to want it right away!!
I bought it on vinyl then and found the CD somewhere in more recent years.
I hate to even think about the actual number of times I've lost my mind doing air guitar to 'Riff Raff'...
Saw the Bon Scott era AccaDacca 3 times, and though I'd still love to see Angus, I've never gotten around to seeing the 'new' version...though I really enjoy the Live Donnington show....weak as whatshisname, that replacement singer is...

niice. Adam's list is pretty cool, way fucking cool, in fact.
For example, Funhouse at number one? With the Beatles over Sgt Peper? Piper at the Gates on Dawn at number 20? and if you must put on a Zep album, i find Physical Graffitti to be tolerable.
