I see the connection in some of those, but I don't get the overall theme I guess.

I see the connection in some of those, but I don't get the overall theme I guess. I don't think they have a "theme", but here is the string of "connections" Jessica Hahn (A former church secretary who wound up doing two photo spreads for Playboy magazine) Jim Bakker ( a TV preacher who was brought down in a scandal involving a sexual indiscretion with Jessica Hahn) Oral Roberts (who, like Jim Bakker, is a TV preacher) Linda Lovelace (a porn star from the 70s whose specialty was ORAL sex...ha ha) Marilyn Chambers (another porn star from the 70s) Marilyn Manson (another famous Marilyn) Charles Manson (another famous Manson, famous as the leader of a cult known as "the Family") Jim Jones (another cult leader who persuaded hundreds of his followers to kill themselves) Grape Kool-Aid (the beverage, laced with cyanide, which Jones' followers drank to kill themselves) Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli (wildly popular television sitcom character whose favorite expression was "cool". If "the Fonz" thought a situation was "cool" he gave it the "thumbs up") Siskel & Ebert: Popular movie critics who popularized a ratings system based on "thumbs up" (positive) or "thumbs down" (negative) Lester Bangs: (a music critic whose wild life became a sub-plot in the movie "Almost Famous". He wrote for Rolling Stone and, Crawdaddy & the Village Voice, among other publications) Creem: (influential rock music magazine where Lester Bangs did some of his best work) Playboy: (influential girly magazine that featured Jessica Hahn on the cover of the September 1988 issue). Then back to #1 and so on, an unbroken circle.

Oral Roberts (who, like Jim Bakker, is a TV preacher)
Linda Lovelace (a porn star from the 70s whose specialty was ORAL sex...ha ha)
*groan* ....but good for a laugh out loud from me!
That was a link I didn't understand but had most of the rest, save the Siskel/Ebert = Lester Bangs connection.....them all being critics didn't click. That and the simple thing of Creem & Playboy just being publications.....my mind was more, "you looked at Playboy and creamed??"

Can you post that here? Graphic, don't you think? Not that I mind, but... You misspelled "Re-mix".

Graphic? She's simply getting out of the car... I just noticed Paris in the background, so there are two of my icons for the price of one. Yes!!! Britney getting out of the car again. Paris gets out of her car, too. So does Lindsay Lohan. Ahhhh, my icons. They represent all I aspire to be.

There is something so non-sexy in those. And even worse, not a single one of those "ladies" have seat covers in their vehicles.

It isn't sexy... but still funny as hell. IMO, obviously, and I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Paris and Lindsay look like they mistook a meat grinder for a vibrator.

La chair est triste, hélas! et j'ai lu tous les livres. Fuir! là-bas fuir! Je sens que des oiseaux sont ivres d'être parmi l'écume inconnue et les cieux!
