 " Stand by for news" no more........ Didn't always matter what the guy was saying, I always found an odd comfort in hearing his voice. Guess it was because I could remember it being exactly the same as it came out of my mom's car radio when I was a kid. |

 the Man is here! And he has lit up the Sydney Opera House! been salivating over this for MONTHS! Next weekend I'm going to see three gigs (Jon Hassell, Jon Hopkins, Laraaji), part of the Luminous Festival which he curates. The above picture is the first instalment of that Festival, as our Opera House will be coloured in all sorts of unique seigns, conceived by Him. He will deliver a keynote address under the name Scenius. In addition to that his video-set 77 Million Paintings has been set up and is free of charge to visit. And, to cap it all off, the Man himself will play on the very last day of the festival in a free-form set with Hopkins and The Necks, three sessions long! Of course I am talking about:  |

00ps! sorry, but I didn't go further into it, but Joyce DeWitt didn't die but was picked up and booked for a DUI.
For anyone who saw Joyce DeWitt in the recent New Theatre show "Hats!" or just always liked her from "Three's Company, here's some bad news (and an even worse mug shot): She was busted July 4 for suspicion of DUI in El Segundo, Calif.
Police Sgt. Dean Howard told E! that "an officer saw DeWitt drive a vehicle past a barricade intended to control vehicular traffic near a park. As the officer spoke with DeWitt, he observed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication."
DeWitt, 60, was arrested at about 4:30 p.m. after field sobriety tests.
oh, and my mention of "one too many down at The Regal Beagle" was in reference of a bar the characters on 3's Company would hang out at.

ah,,,,it WAS a bit reaching but glad someone caught it! Ever catch a rerun of "3's Company" these days? I can't believe how idiotic the humor on that show is....."Gilligan's Island" had more sly lines!
