"Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova" were up there, but I remember "Don't Look Back In Anger" being recieved here as "Okay, enough of this faux Beatles shit" and pretty much marked the end of their State-side success.

I can't devise a list because I honestly don't know what bands have released what as a single. Same reason I couldn't participate in the top 50 singles thing...I honestly have no clue, and it gets especially tedious in a lot of bands that never got radio play, when there's no way of telling what was released and what is just a fan favorite besides research.

Hey, I quite like Love Missile F1-11. Great kitsch value. Yeah, me too, actually. 10. Babylon Zoo – Spaceman 9. Proclaimers – I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) 8. Sigue Sigue Sputnik – Love Missile F1-11 7. Prodigy – Firestarter 6. Jive Bunny and the Master Mixers – Swing the Mood 5. Band Aid – Do They Know It's Christmas 4. Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up 3. Spice Girls – Wannabe 2. Wham! – Wake Me Up Before You Go Go 1. Kajagoogoo – Too Shy Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Nickelback... don't make me go there Never let it be said that the collective fandom of this nation hasn’t paid its dues for every accolade thrown these days at the likes of a Plaskett, Feist or GYBE. BTW, crapola-wise, anything Nickelback’s done, these guys did better.

Much harder States-wise, admittedly. There's some pretty obvious classics out there though, like, off the top of my head... Epic - FNM Alive - Pearl Jam Closer - NIN Today - Pumpkins Paradise City - GnR Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana Seven Nation Army - WS etc etc

They're not even Northern Ireland, which means they ain't UK either. They're Irish. From Eire. And if you go to Dublin and tell them they're all British, you really would find out what fanaticism is all about. But the other 5 choices are good.
