Things were different then.
Paint a picture forty shades of gray. Light your pillow. Lay back. Watch the flames. I'll tell a story but no one would listen that long.
It's hard to imagine. It's hard to imagine.
Fuck tradition. No one's safe from harm. Wait a living. Cup and curse these arms. After having seen all that they saw.
It's hard to imagine. It's hard to imagine.
Things were different then. All is different now.
I tried to explain. Somehow.
I hope this works. Somehow. Things were different then. All is different now.

in a manner of speaking yes but @ heart it is really a secret board with a definite theme. Just waiting for someone to say it. That person will get honorary ambassadorship.

It's 6:00 AM. You're waiting for... You've had your feast. You're wanting more.
Follow the wayward mile. Follow the distant high. Follow the strangest tribe.

Thorny, you're a strange one. Either that, or you're getting better drugs than I ever got (back in the day, of course)!
I have no fucking clue what any of your posts mean.

Thorny, you're a strange one. Either that, or you're getting better drugs than I ever got (back in the day, of course)! I have no fucking clue what any of your posts mean. Thanx stratman. Be sure there's a meaning behind them all. Rockkid got it. The funny thing is, I forgot all about the actual Pearl Jam board already here before creating this one. I got lost in the dizzying excitement of re-discovering my true love for this band upon recently acquiring LOST DOGS on vinyl. This triple-vinyl record album is a shining beacon showcasing Pearl Jam for what they are: nothing short of America's #1 back to basics rock band, period. I've always been a pearl jam fanatic, having bought all their albums the day of their release, with the exception of their 1st (Ten) and their last (Lost Dogs). I am making up for this blotch on an otherwise exemplary fan-trip by creating a new, alternative Pearl Jam board. There is absolutely no offense meant to the person who set up the official "Pearl Jam" board here on RScastaways -- remember, I set this up during a momentary lapse of reason wherein I thought there was no PJ board here. My eyes did a quick scan up & down the list and must've missed it. In any case, I look forward to both that original PJ board and this one to combine forces and grow exponentially like a virus from the American heartland.

ok Rockkid, yer JAB around here is simply to help Keep This Board Alive!!
I'm not sure if it's possible for 2 seperate Pearl Jam boards to continue and thrive together here, but this one got set up so it's too late to turn back.
What I had in mind for this board is for people to post their personal recollections, memoirs, or any odd assortment of thoughts that relate the band to your own personal destiny.
Pearl Jam is a band I've found one cannot necessarily "get into" on a casual inspection. You sort of need to have grown up with them, from the beginning, as I have. In this all-extensive scope, it is virtually impossible to deny their absolute & total magnificense, and downright coolness.
If nothing else, this board will serve to showcase my own twisted recollections of that long strange trip heading down life's road with pearl jam in my rearviewmirror.
