As bad as Daft Punk's new album is....I just love Technologic!
Buy it, use it, break it, fix it,trash it, change it, melt - upgrade it, charge it, pawn it, zoom it, press it, snap it, work it, quick - erase it, write it, get it, paste it, save it, load it, check it, quick - rewrite it, plug it, play it, burn it, rip it, drag and drop it, zip - unzip it, lock it, fill it, curl it, find it, view it, curl it, jam - unlock it, surf it, scroll it, pose it, click it, cross it, crack it, twitch - update it, name it, read it, tune it, print it, scan it, send it, fax - rename it, touch it, bring it, obey it, watch it, turn it, leave it, stop - format it.
Technologic, technologic, technologic, technologic....

Man, I have heard nothing but bad things about the new Daft Punk. Is it really that bad?

Man, I have heard nothing but bad things about the new Daft Punk. Is it really that bad? sadly YES, everything sounds like a good ideal for a bridge that lasts 4 mins too long, and makes the Daft Punk Club Remixes look like Gold Easily the most dissapointing album of 2005,so far

A bugger about that, because alot of people were looking forward to that Daft Punk album...
Oh, the dreaded wrath of the good artist with a disappointing album... alas, it is an affliction wqe have all be lumbered with at some point.

It's like the Cylons out of Battlestar Galactica tried to cover all Kraftwerk-albums in one go. The final track's even a direct ripoff of Trans Europe Express...
Technologic might be more of a novelty-song but well, it has me hook line and sinker!

I may get it just because I'm really into Kraftwerk. I mean, most people say it's a stinker, but I may just get the single or something. I still want to hear it.
Speaking of awesome, have you guys heard that M.I.A. record yet? Man that is kick ASS!

M.I.A. got way too hyped up. I still don't understand what the big deal with him is about. Then again, I've been into Baltimore Club music recently, so what do I know?

Him? Dude it's a Sri Lanken/British HER that is M.I.A. It's cool because it's from the garage/grime scene of London with a cool marriage of Dancehall. As far as the Baltimore club scene, I have no idea there. I'm not a fan of that city.....man is it a dirty dangerous place. Having said that though, Sound Garden is a super duper great record store.

You caught me late at night with that. I dunno, MIA is meh to me. I'm pretty burnt on grime right now, so that probably has a lot to do with it.
And Baltimore Club is like the second coming of Miami Bass. Basically, house music using a lot of samples from hip hop and with a street/thug undertone. DJ Technics is basically the leader of the burgeoning scene, and there's a lot of really kick ass stuff coming out from it.
