Exit Music by Radiohead is definitely right at the very top of the list.

Hey! I just remembered they played that whole thing out in the Belushi flick, '1941' (a totally crazy movie where supposedly more $$ was spent on the stars' cocaine than for the movie itself) where this bunch of U.S. generals would go see friggin' Dumbo' to cry their eyes out at THAT scene....panned critically, but it's one hell of a movie especially when you're aware of all of its backstories. I fuckin' loved 1941....in fact, probably one of my favorite movies of all time. The scene where Dan Ackroyd is fucked up and has the pantyhose on his head with a couple of oranges/grapefruits stuck up in it and he's yelling "I'm a bug! I'm a bug!" or something....just 5 seconds long or something but just cracks me up!

Thinking of this thread had me re-visit one of my choices....STILL one that hits me every time: "When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease" by Roy Harper. There's a lot of references to the game itself that goes over my head but how fucking somber this sounds.... Nick Drake ain't got much over this tune! www.yousendit.com/download/2gvCVmqfkY95TA%3D%3D
