The new, exciting tag thread where YOU get to decide what the link between two songs (or artists) can be... provided you also give us the reason for the tag. Eg: When Doves Cry - Prince can be tagged with any of the following... "The Glamorous Life" - Sheila E (not only has he worked with her, he's fucked her too.) "The Lover In Me" - Sheena Easton (same as above) "Manic Monday" - The Bangles (Prince wrote it... not sure if he screwed the cute singer too. or... if you can't come up with a more 'personal' link you can always go back to using classic title tag rules. First word, last word, it don't matter here. Like I said, anything goes!!! The stupidER the reason for the tag, the better... not to mention the funnier! ;D BTW, 'doing a Chrisfan' is also permitted and will not be questioned by anyone.

So I can do, like,
American Girl - Tom Petty?
So then, from there, could I do Somebody's Baby by Jackson Browne, because both songs were used in Fast Times at Ridgemont High?

Yes, you could. Remember, NO rules. Any tie whatsoever.

California Girls - David Lee Roth's version.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the first video ever which featured the whole 'booty' in a video theme?

In some cases, isnt' the train of thought going to have to be explained?

Yes, I suppose in some cases the train of thought has to be explained... especially when it comes to an 'artist tag' instead of the song... I'll post a few to get things rolling...
More Than Words - Extreme (the band's singer went on to do an album with Van Halen, replacing Hagar at the time)

This is really obvious ... but it should open the doors to more possibilities:
Let's Spend the Night Together -- The Rolling Stones

Together Alone - Donnie Iris
Why is it that when I can do anything, all the tags that pop into mind follow the title tag - tag title rules?
