How's Toods doing? I gave Mocha some candy floss today to see what the reaction would be. I've created a four legger on a sugar high! I had to hide the rest.

Ikea debacle. Oi Vey nothing can be simple. So we get this bed home last night after a 3&1/2 hour drive each way. Move the old bed out of the room & all the way downstairs only to find that inside this factory sealed never before opened box is not one piece of the fucking needed hardware!!! Missing 122 different types of screws et al & 4 metal joiner type plates. So this morn at 10 (apparently the asses don’t work till then) I’ll be making an Ikea rep have a real bad day (depending on the service received of course) I want the parts same day couriered here or I have MC not pay them. Then they can try & recover the bed. Bitch? You bet.
Only good thing was getting to see my son & G baby even if it was only for 2 hours.

that sucks. i've had that problem before-- i purchased a table that was a pain in the ass to get into my trunk--f'in heavy--and i get it home and find it's missing the hardware. seems to happen a lot with do-it-yourself packages. they're cheaper, though.

Well it took 5 calls yesterday & a lot of dealing with fools till I finally hit on an intelligent woman. She agreed to Greyhound the parts up. The others kept telling me snail mail 6-7 days. (Which of course wasn’t good enough since it was 100% their error) So later someone else calls & says it’s coming courier (even faster) & now I’m worried as I’ve seen nothing yet. Who would have thought a bed would be so much trouble. I did eml an atta boy letter about the smart woman to Ikea though, least I could do.

Sounds like a lot of trouble R'kid. Am in Ft. Worth staying at a Radisson hotel and got to experience a sleep #. Not what I expected. Not as great as I thought. It takes forever to figure what setting to put the damn bed on. Then it's either too soft or too hard. But hey, got to experience a "dream." Radisson's are renowned for their sleep # beds. It's a nice hotel. Room service, current movies, breakfast buffet, etc. I watched "Dreamgirls" last Sunday night. Loved it. The music and acting was superb.
