Hey Dawg...how ya doing? Cool to see you here. God, I had no idea about the hairspray thing. Wonder if Paul Mitchell's Freeze & Shine is included in that kind of testing? My shampoo & conditioner is Redkens (remember that brand folks?) 5th Avenue NYC all-soft products. Mitchell's soft spray gel and freeze and shine are the finishing touches. I'm pretty sure neither are brands are tested on animals. (Fingers crossed.) Poor chickies. Whats the price of normal unleaded in your parts of the world. Here its about $2.15 for the cheap stuff.

Just checked the labels and John Paul Mitchell does not endorse or make use of animal testing on their products. Didn't see anything about animal testing on the Redken products.

Use TRESemme as well. For variety. And denorex for a mild flake problem from time to time. TRESemme also does not conduct animal testing with their products.

Anyone remember that shampoo commercial with the lady singing... "Im gonna wash that man right outta my hair, I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair." Maybe it's that really old brand: TRESemen.

1.99 to 2.08 a gallon for regular here in Birmingham. Unfortunatley, my pig won't run on anything but premium -- 2.17 to 2.35 per gallon. I don't give a shit; I just pull in and fill 'er up anyhow. Close to 40 bucks last time. I'm not bitching too much yet - could be worse. I gotta have a car that will get up and move.

Thats cool that the admin has the invisible mode option. Nobody knows when your around Strat-O. Whats a pig? I know bikes are called hogs, but never heard the term pig used to describe wheels.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!
A pig? I don't know - a big old chunk of iron with a guzzling U.S. V-8 in it. I had a buddy once who had a Pontiac dragster he called the "War Pig." Mine's a '78 Caprice with a built 400 in it. That buddy built the engine for me some years ago. It will pass everything on the road but a gas station! Actually, it gets surprisingly decent gas mileage - about 14 mpg if I stay out of the 4-barrel a little.

Who knows what good lurks in the hearts of men?- the light knows!
Bought 3 new c.d. 's tonight:
Donna Summer: VH1 Presents: Live and More Encore-McArthur Park is my favorite Summer's song. Barbra Streisand: The Broadway Album
Billy Joel: The Complete Hits Collection 1973-97
Got a great deal on Joel and Streisand. Streisand's was $2.99 and Joel's was 15 bucks. Summer's was regular price. Some of next months expendable cash depleted already.
See Donna Summer is touring at ticketmaster.com. God, I wish she'd come close to Austin.

First remix I ever heard was "Enough is Enough." Gosh, back in '78 or so if memory serves correctly. Used to call the station in Phoenix and request it over and over. And dance my butt off to it. Only other song I ever requested via radio station was "True Blue" when it first came out in what '85 '86? And I already had the friggin' cassette tape. Wanted to hear the remix.

Nice little hail storm going on right now here in Austin. Nothin' like last weeks storm. That one was a doozy. Being on the highway during it wasn't pretty. Pulled over to the side of the road during the worst hail storm I ever experienced. Quarter size hail. And lots of it. Tonights storm is pea sized hail. More lightening in this one.

Decided to wait awhile for another horror novel. Koontz's "The Taking" left me feeling like I smelled something really bad.
Started John Sandford's "Naked Prey" tonight. Its off to a great start. Looks like it might be one of the better Davenport novels.

Stand up straight Do your trick Turn on the stars Jupiter shines so bright When you're around They tell us slow down, We're too young you need to grow The speed's the key And they don't know who we are
And who's to say that we're not good enough? And who's to say that this is not our love?
Mother don't tell me friends are the ones that I lose 'Cause they'd bleed before you And sometimes family are the ones you'd choose It's too late now I hold on to this life I found
And who's to say we won't burn it out? And who's to say we wont sink in doubt? Who's to say that we wont fade today? Who are they anyway? Anyway they don't know
And you say we're too young, but maybe you're too old to remember And I try to pretend but I just feel it when we're together And if you don't believe me, you never really knew us You never really knew
You and I, packin' up my room, we feel alright We're not welcome Soon we'll be drivin', 'cause they don't know who we are Who's to say we won't stay together? Who's to say we arn't getting stronger? Who's to say I can't live without you? Who are they anyway? Anyway they don't know
And you say we're too young, but maybe you're too old to remember And I try to pretend, but I just feel it when we're together Who is to say? And who is to say? And who are they anyway?
Stand up boy, I shine so bright when you're around
