I think Madge will come here. Its expensive for most bands to tour Australia, but bigger artists (like U2) who can charge shitloads earn enough to justify it.
It'll be so expensive. I don't care. I'll pay it. I owe my slutiness to Madonna, I'd be a lesser woman without her.

I hope she goes so you can see her. Have you ever seen a Madonna concert Layla? I saw "Who's That Girl" in California. Was terrific. Opened with "Open Your Heart."

No, I haven't seen her & I'm really pissed about that. I was in London when she toured there, but no, I couldn't go because my boyfriend planned a romantic dinner that night. How rude.
My mate Jon saw her when he was in the States & somehow he got backstage for a second or two (I think he either felt up some publicity person or drugged them). He not only got to meet Madge, he was able to touch her arm! The encounter lasted all of 5 seconds before he was whisked away by security & thrown out onto the street like the crackwhore he is, but he doesn't ever let us forget it. If I have to hear his stupid Madonna story one more time I'll kill him.

My favorite artist. i have no bones with madonna... she's an icon. i was "eeking" because i was thinking about la's all purple outfit thing... it was probably some kind of squeal mixing morbid delight and confusion.... purple freaks me out... |

Actually I did the finished advertisement work for Madonna's movie "Who's that Girl." Used to be in that line of work in Cali in the 80's. We did the brush-ups and movie times for "WTG". Was a motion picture advertisement company of which Warner Bros. was a client.
The movie ad's you see in your local newspapers. That type of advertising company.
I was a stat cameraman black and white.

Nope. Only stars I ever "ran across" were Tom Selleck (Magnum P.I.) Kristy McNichol (Family) and some dude from the soap opera "The Young And The Restless."
Only times I was star struck. Besides the time I saw Madonna in concert ofcourse.

Pat, I couldn't help notice you mentioning that I'd be seeing Madonna in NYC... not the case. I'm a poor college student, I pay rent, I pay for my own food, and I only work part-time. I won't be seeing Madonna at all this summer, and I'm quite bummed about it. No concert is worth the price Madonna charges... except hers.
I couldn't help but notice Amp mentioning the fact that Madonna annoys him or something nowadays... well, it's probably because she's a democrat and doesn't find christ to be her lord and saviour. Or maybe because she's living a good life nowadays and isn't the mess she used to be? Could it be that? Who knows? BTW, I'm just joshin' ya...
