If I had to pick two songs from American Life they would be "Love Profusion" and "Nobody Knows Me."

Now you can pick which song you wish to listen to from "Confessions" courtesy of aol.com: music.aol.com/songs/new_releases_full_cds.adpListen to "Jump." I swear the first time I heard this song I felt like I did the first time I heard songs such as "Express Yourself, Cherish" and "Vogue."

"Love Profusion" and "Hollywood" were the only decent songs on American Life. I did like 'Die Another Day' too, but I don't really consider it an album track since it was released as a single months before and sounds out of place. It was obviously just tagged on to fill space... and to help sales of course.

Interesting...
I thought everything before "Get Together" sucked ass, and everything after that rocked. "Hung Up" sounded ilk, Get Together was sub-par, and the final three ("I Love New York," "Let It Will Be," and "Everybody") were Madonna with pizazz. I can't even pick a favorite out of those. It would be quite difficult.
She looks amazing despite that stupid hairdo.

I'm the consummate douche. I bought two different versions of Madonna's album, something I've never done before. There's the album that I physically own, and then I bought the album on iTunes, which features the songs not mixed together, making it possible to take each song on its own merits.
I only did it cause I like to make Mix CDs, and I hate when one track runs into another and then skps to a song that has nothing to do with it. It sounds funny and stupid.
And yeah, I think this makes me a douchebag.
But, I must say, it's kind of cool hearing the songs in this light, because they are different. I like both versions - hearing them mixed together, and hearing the actual original track.

Well my copy of "COADF" arrived today from Amazon.com. I have every album with the sole exception of "Evita."
Gosh I love that song "Jump." Gives me that warm-fuzzy-feeling inside... ;D

The ones before Madge were none other than the rather marvelous Fugees who used The Name Of the Game in Rumble In The Jungle in 1996. Cheers! That's been nagging away at me. KLF too, eh? I used to have a copy of Justified Ancients of Mu-Mu back in the day, and an extended version of "America - what time is Love?" Don't ask me why. They burned a million pounds in Great British Sterling once, in front of a load of journos. Publicity stunt most likely. I'm rambling.

I actually still own some KLF. That Gregorian chant shit, delish when the moods right. That gregorian chant shit is heard on a song from "Ray Of Light" called "Shanti/Ashtangi." Back when Madonna was on another spiritual path. Hinduism if I recall correctly, before she switched or "was led to" Kabbalah. And now again that "sound" is found on the "Confessions, et al" album in the song "Isaac."
