What do you mean "The return of saturn?" Never heard that expression.
Turning 40 though, makes one think about things.

The return of saturn? You've never heard that expression.
Approximately every 29 years, Saturn returns to the place in your birthchart (same place it was when you were born). It's supposed to be a time of transition. Happens between the ages of 28-30.

I wish some tour news would arrive. I'll have to make travel arrangements. I am going this next tour. I saw the "Who's That Girl" world tour in Anaheim 18 years ago. Would like to see another Madonna concert, one with fairly good seats. Any tour news Mat? You're lucky in that you live close to New York where Madonna always performs. How many tours have you seen? Only Drowned World and Reinvention, right?

Thats vewy interesting!

Heres a cool site on the matter concerning the lights of chanukah...whether one should go from 1-8 or the opposite from 8-1. I'll have to read the two opposing parties opinion...Hillel and Shammai, two of the wisest men of Israel. www.ou.org/chagim/chanukah/somelaws.htm

How come I wonder, when I was growing up Chanukah was always referred to and spelled hanukah, sans the c. Every calender I recall always spelled chanukah, hanukah.

There's talk of a tour... she wants a lot of disco balls and purple, I guess. Non-stop danceathon.
I saw Drowned World and Reinvention, which is no surprise considering I'm a latter-years Madonna fan. I'll be seeing this year's tour as well, and what's nice is that I am close to both NYC and Philly, not real close, but they're both within 3 hours of here.
Reinvention rocked cause most of the "old" songs were reworked, and I liked the versions a lot better. And I was a huge fan of American Life cause I have a lot of similar sentiments when it comes to american culture. Madonna's never the type to make things too heady, but she still got slammed for being that way, when basically, it was just pop music with a little politics inside. Still one of my favorite albums.
Drowned World... well, that was an experience and a half. Very dark. It rocked because Shannon went with me, and well, she's a lot of fun, and we got all dressed up and shit.
I dunno... Madonna rocks. I don't understand how anyone can't be a fan.

I fucking hate Christmas, by the way. And I hate the "Happy Holidays" shit even more... just making it more inclusive so everyone can act like a fuckface at the grocery. Fuck that.

When you get to be an old queen like me my age you'll appreciate the holidays and find that they should be as they are; inclusive rather than exclusive. Thus, Happy Holidays is what I put on my cards...so as not to exclude anyone based on their spiritual or religious preferences.

Nah, I work in retail, and the sentiment around the store is that we all hate the holidays. People act like assholes. It's supposed to be inclusive... but everyone who works in retail gets shit on all through the "festive" season. Fuck that. I hate it. Makes us miserable having to put up with bullshit every day.

Your sentiment should be positive. This is the time of year for big revenues which bring raises and other employee bonuses and perks of the job. You should be grateful for the holidays since this is the time of year consumers spend more.
