Wow...that was the most scathing thing I've read on either Hate board...good job.
I hate that I just found out that this ugly snobby private school bitch whose little sister used to hand us out blowjobs like candy on Halloween back in high school is now a fucking publicist for Merge Records. And that when I read it, she had her pet peeves listed as "petty jealousy." Still a cunt.
It reminds me of when I was in high school, and Trent Reznor was still kicking it in New Orleans. One of our older friends was interning at Nothing, but, what should have been some sort of dream job was just some tedious work for her, as she had el zilcho interest in Nine Inch Nails. "Mr. Reznor" was just a boss to her, and she used to give all the autographed memorabilia and exclusive compilations that were given to her PERSONALLY by Trent Fucking Reznor to her best bud Kelly. Then Kelly would gloat at us.
Some things just aren't fair.

In fact, I hate it that Danzig isn't my boss.
Danzig is the only person I could justify taking orders from.
If Danzig told me to strangle a baby with a freshly plucked tail from a kitten, I would. Even if it were a cute kitty.

I also hate when people dont think for themselves and blame their problems on someone else. I do it all the time. So I guess I hate myself too sometimes.

But seriously, it's funny. That statement was kind of funny. Seriously funny? Yeah, anyway. Come on, the guy was a fucking clown. And he killed young men. I ain't hip to it, but I find it interesting. Besides, I put a picture of him, dressed as a clown, (not like I put one up of his victims being unearthed or something) as my avatar. Now, it's only been up for a week, but it's already been commented on a few times. Why does everyone recognize John Wayne Gacy in full clown get-up? I look at it, and I see a clown. I know that it's a man (who happened to be a serial killer) dressed as a clown, but the picture doesn't show it. Who's sicker here, the man in the clown suit, the people (myself included) who are able to instantly recognize that image, or the sensationalist media that loves stories like Gacy's because it sells?
I didn't have a point to prove, but now I guess I do.
I think it's a funny picture. I think the whole damn thing is funny...a clown killing people? Yes, that's humor. Am I sick? No. But in the company of Bundy, Berkowitz, Brudos, Dahmer...Gacy stands out for reasons we are all aware of.

If I had a picture of Hitler as a child, it would still be Hitler...but he wasn't leading a genocide then. Just as Gacy isn't involved in the act of raping and killing in that picture. Right?

Incidentally, the lyric under the picture is from "Kill the Poor," a song which jokingly calls for nuking the slums of the country in order to take care of the poverty problem.

Just a clown to those who dont know who the fuck he is? Kill the Poor by the Kennedys has absolutely NOTHING to do with John Wayne Gacy. it goes against it. I gather you haven't seen the infamous video of some joker from some unheard of bar band knocking Danzig to the ground with ONE punch? I swear, I used to vote Danzig all the time in the perennial Danzig vs. Rollins who-would-win-in-a-fight debate, but now I think Danzig might actually be a total wuss. He's still a mountain of a man, but he's possibly a mountainous wuss. Can anyone remember the name of that stupid band that that guy was from? It's driving me crazy that I can't remember. I think it was the something kings, but I'm not sure. I might have completely fabricated that. Cheers, M |

Before crazy rumors begin to spread I would like to explain what happened:
North Side Kings were to play with Danzig last night in Tuba City, Arizona. To make a long story short the whole show was a disaster and a few bands got bumped off. Mr. Danzig (or his managment??) refused to push back the original scheduled time slot so North Side Kings and Rapid Fire would have to play "after" his set. Whatever- we agreeded to play later because we drove 6 hours and didn't feel like going home without playing.
Needless to say, as soon as Danzig was finished, the venue turned on the lights and Danzigs crew and the staging company began to take the stage apart almost instantly. I confronted Mr. Danzig backsatge while he was signing autographs and told him I thought he was an asshole because of his "rockstar" attitude and no consideration twords the FEW other bands that got bumped off tonight. In a fit of rage he turned around and slammed me into the wall yelling "fuck you motherfucker" trying to be a big toughguy in front of his fans. I -in self defence punched him in the face knocking him out as he was attacking me again. He went down, bleeding from his mouth, eyes rolled back, and in shock that he got knocked to the floor so quickly.
A friend happened to tape the entire incident and this is all documented. Many witnesses saw him attack me, and I did what any man would do.
It was unfortunate that this went the way it did -and I hoped Glen Danzig learned a valuable lession tonight - Do not lay your hands on anyone unless you can handle what may happen.
I aploigize for nothing, except for the poor little kids that had to witness this big asshole get his ass kicked in a matter of seconds.....
