Check it-my wife and my son went fishing yesterday at an urban lake here in town. They caught a few. Had plans to take friday off to do more fishing. Just saw on the news that the SMALL URBAN LAKE fish we just ate for dinner at caught at this small LITTLE URBAN LAKE had a dead body floating around in it. I fucking puked. Fucking tiny little lake! I know our water systems have all sorts of crazy morbid things going on...
I hate that. Best fresh fish though. Fuck that shit. Im taking those fishing licences back. I dont want to cast and get a corpse on the other end. That would be weird..."what did you catch?" ewwww. Dont ruin my fucking innocent fishing trip with your body dump bitch! I HATE THAT!

I was housesitting until this morning, so while preparing my morning coffee (folgers hazelnut = YUK;(, I switched on their cable tv, and sat there stupefied while a couple of current "videos" played. I don't -for the life of me - and this must be a good thing - - thank you, God -- know who these "artists" were, but let me try and explain the "songs", and see if anyone can chime in with who they were; that way, I will know precisely where to direct my newborne hatred.
1st video: This dumb looking "hot" chick is all singin' about... damn, I don't even remember. It was that dumb. Let's see. . . what were the lyrics... well I can't recall, they were so insipid, we're talking Top 40 radio syrupy pap , here. . . . she's lamenting this dude w/tribal tatooes, breakin up w/him I guess . . . he takes off at the end while she serenades her loss . . . oh god I must throw up now / *hurls*
2nd video, by this guy I hated immediately .. . again, the song is way too dumb for me to recollect, but the video showed this naked chick holding up cue cards which served as a screen which this dumb ass's image was projected onto, while he strummed his guitar and sang his infinitely stupid song.

I hate it when an album I'm really enjoying finishes, and I can't find another one that quite does the job in the same way for the current mood.

haha. Holzman and DED are gonna go ballistic with that one. I don't mind Springsteen, I'm definitely not crazy about his music, but the Meatloaf comparison is a little harsh, to say the least. But it's still funny.  I think I'd like Springsteen more if he actually opened his mouth when he sang. He'd be a great ventriloquist though. |
