I usually put on some dance music...something fast that takes my mind off cleaning house. As today is house cleaning day (I clean every two weeks whether the place needs cleaning or not) I think I'll spin Donna Summer's Anthology...

XM wasn't doing the trick for me, so now I'm jamming Muse. The wife will get home later and probably put on the XM 80s channel to do her part...I'll hopefully be done with my half by then, though.

Yeah, XM, as cool as it is, is not a replacement for the CDs you know and love. There's something about hearing a whole album's worth of one artist, and the choice to hear it was made by YOU and not some programmer at XM. But it never disappoints when I come back to it. |

the face is ok.......but not great....but yeah...it was just a little creepy.....and its gonna get wierder tomorrow morning..........shit like this is the reason i generally tend to avoid work functions.

I really hate when there's a bunch of pedestrians walking in front of you on a sidewalk, and they're walking ridiculously slowly, and they're all spread out so as to take up the entire sidewalk so you can't get around them. Most people suffer from road rage, I suffer from sidewalk rage. Drives me craaaaaaazy when people do this!
I also hate when people don't bus their own tables in coffee shops, and just leave their dirty shit all over the table. It's rude to the people working there and to the other customers.
I also hate when people take out their shit on waiters or store clerks or anyone in the service industry. I listened to some guy in a restaurant in NY on fri night totally bawl out his poor waiter over some absolute peccadillo and I wanted to clock him. Those jobs are so fuckin miserable, all such workers deserve our utmost kindness.
And I hate that I currently have Livin on a Prayer stuck in my head for absolutely no discernible reason. Goddammit.

As someone who's waited tables and worked in retail, Mary, I gotta say I'm with you on all fronts there.
Part of the job is laughing it off, though, for sure.
