wow Trace, that dress is beautiful. You'll look stunning, which will make my job as groom imposter all the more fun.
I love men in tuxedos. They all look handsome in a nice tux. Well, except for the ugly ones, they don't look handsome in anything. But a man in a tux probably has a similar effect on women as a man with a guitar. Mmmm.
Now that we've seen the dress, lets talk hair, shoes, jewellery etc. I have to OK your shoes first, Trace.
Is Ellen going to be your flower girl? Too cute.

Once at a wedding I caught the garter. It was completely by accident. I was actually a bridesmaid & I was standing around drinking free champagne (was riotously drunk) while the garter was being thrown. Next thing I knew it was coming towards me & in an amazing display of drunken co-ordination I caught it & then all these garter-mad dudes were about to crash-tackle me. It was hot pink & I kept it, but then one of my old roomies used it as a hair scrunchie & I don't know where it is now.

Even though I usually prefer my men casual and somewhat scruffy, a man in a tux is undeniably sexy. As long as it's not a cheap ill-fitting tux, because then they just look, well, kinda sad.
S begrudgingly wore a tux at our wedding last year and was gorgeous. I even managed to talk him out of wearing his Chucks with it, which was nice.
Damn, getting married was fun. Have a blast, someone.

I was really torn on what I wanted to do for our wedding. Part of me just wanted to run off and get married on a beach somewhere, and part of me wanted something a little more traditional.
The deciding factor in not running to get married on a beach in the Caribbean or something was that it was really important to S to have his grandparents there, and his grandfather is 89 and can't really travel.
So I loved our wedding - but the beach wedding idea is still so kickass to me. In fact, we're supposed to be at a wedding on the beach in Cuba - today. Argh.

Thanks, everyone. I love the dress too, it was the only one I tried on. I saw it on the rack and I fell in love. However, I doubt I'll do it strapless. It comes with straps as well , which you button on the inside, just skinny little black ones. Strapless dresses make me nervous. Layla, my hair will probably be up. Me and my sister are going to a salon that day to get my hair and makeup done. I want an upsweep, I think. And this will make you happy: I think I'm going back to blond before the wedding. I miss my blond hair. As for shoes, I haven't even begun to decide. I want something simple and strappy, but I haven't decided if I'm going for the whole garter thing or not. Too many decisions. Gary's going to look hot as hell in that tux, tho. I've only ever seen him in a tux in pics...and they were from his first wedding, bahaha. He'll look way hotter at this one. As will the bride, naturally  No matter what you all say tho, the baby blue tux would have been fucking awesome. And jllm, everyone knows I'M the lucky one.  And Luke's wife looked stunning on her wedding day, jeez. Beautiful. |

yeah great pics Luke.....both my weddings were at fairly nice locales, both with ocean views (La jolla and sunset cliffs) so that made it a visual treat.....but I was much more excited and emotional for my 2nd/current one!!!!...................
to be honest, I saw red flags early on in my first marriage, but for whatever misguided reasons I chose to minimize/ignore them, pretending they would go away....well, guess what?..they only get magnified as time marches on!!.........oh well, live and learn!!!
thank gawd, round two has been nothing short of spectacular!!!..my wife is a licensed clinical psychologist so there is not only equality in terms of finances, but I can't get away with anything!!!!
