Just catching up.
I'm sorry but, AEROSMITH and GUNS'n'ROSES do NOT "hair metal" make. They are pure rock'n'roll, straight up, unapologetic.
Gotta say though, I agree w/the first list, "25 Worst Hair Metal Bands" - - possibly the worst form of music to ever come out in history, imo

hell about worrying about Bon Jovi, he's got WINGER on there!
I'm embarrassed to admit it but there's a Winger song I still like a lot, probably because it has a lot of nostalgic value for me. "Headed For A Heartbreak" is the song. That song was just completely stuck in my head for like a whole week when I was about 13 and I still like the way the music is structured on that song. Go ahead and laugh.   |

Yeah, I admit it's kinda silly.
A friend of mine said he saw Poison and Winger perform together just a few years ago and that it was about the funniest thing he'd ever seen hearing the 50+ year old man singing, "She's only seventeen."

I am going to do my best to overlook that Winger comment Thunk,,,,,but it's gonna take some doin'! Wasn't Kip a ballet dancer or something??? oooo,,, he had that semi-beard thing down pat though! I've admitted to doing doses of early Tesla, Dokken, Angel, RIOT, Y&T --- here's another:  Krokus Metal Rendez-vous1980, before they gagged with drivel like "Midnight Maniac" or the cover of "School's Out" was it?,,,,when the Swiss-meisters first came out with this, the rumor (WMET-Chicago) was it was AC/DC spotting a new singer. "Heatstrokes" & "Bedside Radio" got some play but the real burner is one called "Fire" that has one of those guitar solo's that ramps up into an orgasmic, fist-pumpin', head-bangin' joy!
