Sadly, the only Byrds album I own is a Greatest Hits.... SofR has been on my "I should really buy" list for a looooong time.
To be honest, I bought my one George Jones CD because of Johnny Cash. Cash covers 'He Stopped Loving Her Today' on the Unearthed box, and it just breaks my heart into a million pieces. I realized that it was criminal not to own the original version.

George Jones is in a class of his own, just like Cash, Willie, Waylon and Hank are. The others could/can sing but Jones has the most original and pleasing voice to my ears. I think his songs probably contributed most to the stereotypes about country only being about losing your wife, drinking your life away and just generally having hard luck. Oh well, my top five George Jones songs:
1. The Race is On 2. The Door(extreme tearjerker) 3. A Picture of Me(without you) 4. He Stopped Loving Her Today 5. The Grand Tour
