Kills me how wide my eyes are opened when I see a serious audiophile's collection like that....releases that weren't even popular in their day and somehow have escaped the landfills and have shown up in digital form on the Internet. Amazing..... Makes me want to hear everything just in hopes of catching that TOTALLY off the scale GREAT lost song!

That site had me in hopes of finding this live Mick Taylor show where he jams with Snowy White....I'll have to try and track down the name of it but the handful of tunes I do have of it are keepers. That old Steve Miller stuff should be good too --- I have the double Anthology album that contains tracks from the first few albums.

Now: need to go hunt for the s/t Silver Condor album with "Carolina" on it, and The Way Moves with "Revel In Your Time", Red Rockes & "China" plus a few dozen more,,,,,

Unfortunately most blog download sites use .rar file extensions and I don't have a program that opens those.

If anyone knows of dl sites that use zip files I'll thank you for pointing them out to me.

JAC, I use a program called 7ZIP to open up those sort of files....it's easy and FREE ! Here's a download site to get it off of:

Appreciate the effort you put into the blog list, maarts. I'll definitely use it as a resource.

Now that I can open rar files I've been surfing the mp3 blogs like a madman. It's insane what you can find! A lot of the stuff I'm interested in is out-of-print and bootlegs...there is a LOT of that kind of fare available. I'll spend at least a day or two downloading all the Beatles boots I've found.
