Same here, though I have gained quite a few Aussie discs. Live sounds like a good idea, haven't done that one before.
Duets? If someone decides to send me a disc with Neil Diamond and Barbra Streisand on it, I'm afraid I have to go berserker.

I dunno, I like the idea of having a unified concept. I could probably compile a box set of Tokyo music if I wanted to, so a regional mix would suit me fine. For people who live in places that have a shit music scene ;P, maybe they could extend their regions. Say, like, the entire South or the Midwest, or for maarts, the whole of Australia? A live mix sounds great too. Not sure about duet - I don't think I could make a satisfactory mix with that theme. My top choice would be best of 2006 so far. And I personally think that my idea of songs in 3/4 time is pretty fucking brilliant  |

Have all the exchanges been made now in this Swap Round? Thoughts on the next theme?? I'd toss in: "Fantasy Concert" -- compile different live cuts on a disc from various artists
"Genre Picks" -- center on just one style of music of the maker's choice "Duets" -- songs that pair either 2 artists or 2 bands that don't normally play together
"Local Favorites" -- spotlight bands from your area "Movie Tunes" -- cuts from soundtracks |
