Start working up those lists and nominations here. Don't leave Patten to do ALL the work, you lazy bastards.

Sorry, Jesus, this board should be shut down until that new Darkness drops.

This is going to be a tough fucking year for me, man. I don't know why, but I have been rocked this year, but few releases have really moved me, though. It may be January before I get that list out.

Sorry, Jesus, this board should be shut down until that new Darkness drops. No need for definitive lists as yet. I'm still waiting on Hypnotise (or is it Hypnotize?) as well. Some stuff that's in the running for me includes released by these acts: Sigur Ros System of a Down Wolf Parade Antony & the Johnsons Editors Bloc Party Silver Mt Zion Franz Ferdinand a few more I can't think of right this second

So far, albums from...
System of a Down Mars Volta Wolf Parade Franz Ferdinand Novillero Bloc Party New Pornographers Broken Social Scene
I could go on...quite a bit this year. Fully expecting SOAD to hit my list twice, though, and hopefully The Darkness will chart. Think there was a couple of other albums I needed, too, before the year's out.

No-one's making me rush out for the Depeche Mode release then?
luke - read a track-by-track guide to The Darkness' new album today. Looks like there's plenty of material about tits and flabby-armed women.
