I kind of want to use my Z joke again, DED. It's a funny joke. It's one of those of those album people either seem to love or they just don't pay any attention to.

Z is a brilliant album. It got considerable airplay here, then kinda disappeared into the horizon.

The best album of 2005 was definitely The Best Party Ever - The Boy Least Likely To. Hands down. Riley, where are you to back me up?

I want to Frag. I really do. Tuneschick is a recent convert. I just really fell for Broken Social Scene's disc last year.
Coolest cover though. Hands down.

So we are 3 among many?
I forgot what else was released. But it's the the best album of the year, poserdog.

Great album there, fantastic cover. Still, Riley's right, it's got nothing on Broken Social Scene.

Then again, no one in the pop music world could fuck with those guys last year.

I haven't had the urge to listen to Broken Social Scene in six months. That's not a good sign.

You and I, Yak, we're not talking. Yeah, 2005 was the year of the great divergence between the two of us. You loved Bloc Party, I've heard it twice and thought it was meh. But aside from that, I actually haven't had the urge to listen to anything from '05 in forever. The more I listen to, the less I have time to find anything to really listen to continuously, and the less I want to listen to anything over and over again.

I listened to BSS this past weekend and love it just as much as I did with Arcade Fire..now that is TOTALLY the type of music I like these days....hey, isn't there another BSS that some of you have recommended?

ALL OF THEM!
There is also a side project called Sunset Rubdown with one of the vocalists of Wolf Parade that totally slays. It's great stuff and he has the totally weird voice that I really love better than anything.
