Inspirational movie for me -- Life is Beautiful. That's the first movie I can remember going to that i left feeling sorry for the people who had not seen it yet. I can remember walking through the grocery after I saw it, looking at people's faces, and wondering if they knew what a fabulous piece of filmmaking was showing at the movie theater next door.

Haunting:
The Sweet Hereafter
Movie about a busload of kids who die in the middle of a freezing Canadian winter on the way to school, and how it impacts the town. All these scenes of the bus slowly crawling around the ledge of a hill shortly before it topples over, with this, well, haunting music playing.... absolutely couldn't get that film out of my head for weeks after I saw it.
Ooooh I'm the third haunting so I get to pick another adjective! Woo hoo! OK, here we go:
