It was just this past summer that I got (and got into) Reconstruction Site. I like it a lot. Just saw they have a new one, FALLOW, out. Thoughts on the new one or Left And Leaving are appreciated.

Like Johnny Carson would say...."I did not know that". So it was Fallow, Left and Leaving, then Recon Site?
I guess Fallow is a reissue becasue I swear I-Tunes has it as an '06 release

I don't know if it was issued in the States when it came out there... Riley? Rit? I'm thinking it may have been a reissue if they've finally had some success down there.
Of course, what do I know?
Aside was my first Weakerthans song and it was love at first listen. One of the greatest bands this country has produced.

I haven't looked it up, but I'm going to take a stab and say Epitaph has re-released the first two albums recently, since I think they only signed with them prior to recording Reconstruction.

Pretty sure G7 did get Left and Leaving out in the States. Not sure about Fallow.

I want to say that for a while Sub-City was releaseing their record, which I think is an offshoot of Epitaph, but I'm not sure. They've released alot of stuff on different labels throughout the years. I think the Weakerthans have the best lyrics of any band I have heard since The Clash.

I think the Weakerthans have the best lyrics of any band I have heard since The Clash. Nice one. I will give you full applause for being spot on, and take it a step further by suggesting Sampson's lyrics are as good or better than just about anyone ever. Period.

I miss him being in Propaghandi. After his absence they have just been falling further and further into being irrelevant.
