I think I've misplaced the DBT mix Fuzzy sent me...I need to see if I can find it...The verdict was still out on some songs, but I remember thinking a lot of them were awesome - such as "sinkhole" -- some was a bit too southern rock for my liking, I don't know...some songs I guess I just didn't "get". But like I said, a good chunk of them were fucking great.

Yeah, Bruce gave away a bunch of great songs in the late seventies ...he and Steve Van Zandt also did a bunch of stuff with Southside Johnny and the Jukes, doing production and writing material for them.... And of course, Manfred Mann had their last big hit with a cover of Blinded By the Light. Bruce could actually release a pretty fair "greatest hits" of his songs that scored for others. Southside Johnny had 3 GREAT Springsteen tunes in "Trapped Again", "Hearts Of Stone", and the FANtasTIC "Fever" --- the latter being one that I swore was the E Street Band when I first heard it! Manfred Mann's Earth Band had probably most of ALL their radio play via Boss material, not only with "Blinded" but "Spirit In The Night" & "For You" as well. I always wondered if he was just eventually going to get around to covering the entire Asbury Park album and then start in on the others.......

Again!!! Stuck at 29%! This is ridiculous. If we had to pay for YSI services, right about now I'd be asking for my money back. I'm giving up for now, I'll try again later. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have everything up.
