I'm giving Placebo a shot now. Maybe YSI hates Kraftwerk? I have a feeling it'll get stuck again. It's uploading way too fast. Normally I'd be happy about that, but my YSI experience tells me that it's not really uploading and that it will get stuck again.

I've actually got a "Business" account over at YSI, but it's a one month free offer. Remember when I was telling you guys to have a back-up account just in case you exceed your download limit? Well, I opened one a couple of months ago and never used it so they sent me an email the other day saying they were offering me a 30-day 'Business' upgrade for free.
Not that it's really worth it though. There's no way anyone could exceed the 200 GB download limit. Anything I upload is also valid for 14 days instead of the usual 7 and they can be downloaded 500 times instead of 100. I think I also have a much larger upload limit, but right now, the way this thing's going I'd settle on a measly 50MB, just as long as the fucking thing worked!!!

100% completed (43.85 MB of 43.66 MB) Estimated time remaining: 1 sec.
^^^^It's been stuck there for 10 minutes now!! 1 second for 10 minutes?!?!? Look at the numbers too. I'm not making that up. I copy/pasted that info. 43.85 OF 43.66?!? WTF? How is that even possible??
Sorry for my YSI ranting/bitching here today, but it's never been this bad. I've had the occasional upload get stuck before but this is ridiculous.

I've had a few things get stuck going up or down (more up than down), but nothing when it was right at the end! That really sucks, Kool. I feel for ya.

That's nothing. Last week I had an upload go up to 104%! Of course it got stuck there. That blue progress bar actually exceeded the limit and kept going. I'm not kidding. Does anyone remember the name of the other YSI-like site Ryo mentioned a while back that he uses? I tried that once after he suggested it. It was pretty slow but at least it worked. Silly me forgot to bookmark it. PS. Blur's Think Tank just got stuck at 15%. I think I'm giving up of YSI for today.

I should have the first disc of The River up in about 5 minutes, Kool.
If you feel like trying your luck with a d/l today, that is!

I'm actually downloading the other stuff you put up as we speak. So far, so good with the downloads... I'm looking forward to the River too. A few years ago I was actually this close to buying that. I bought Tunnel of Love instead.

Could it be that too many people are using this thing ??
I'll try to upload something tomorrow morning to see if it works better early on ...

Yeah, I suppose more people use it on Friday/weekends and that's why it goes nuts on us. Congratulations Ken on a successful YSI upload! You lucky bastard. Thanks, btw. Will start downloading now before I start uploading again Anyway, after sifting through Ryo's last 200 posts I finally found the other YSI-like place. www.sendspace.com/ It doesn't require registration, but if you don't log-in you have to make a note of the upload link so you don't lose it. Unless of course you email it to yourself, which is what I'll probably do.

I had a d/l freeze up this week at more than 90% done ... which really pissed me off.
Disc Two should be up in a few minutes ...
Is Tunnel of Love the only proper Springsteen you've got, Kool?

Thanks Ken! Yes, Tunnel of Love is the only actual Bruce CD I own. Born In the USA I downloaded for a friend of mine (and kept it myself of course). That's pretty much my Springsteen collection. I'm gonna give sendspace a shot now. I'm pretty sure it'll work, I just hope it's not as slow as it was the last time I tried it. I'll let you guys know how it goes...
