lunatic, I like the fact that you give little comments about the songs you psot--I'm gonna try and start doing that as well, since some people might not have heard of the bands/songs I post...I might even go back and modify my posts that I've already done. Good stuff my man...

Akron/Family - Raising the Sparks These guys are pretty wild live. This song comes from a split LP they did with Angels of Light where they were also the backing band. It comes the closest so far to approximating their live show. Their debut album was OKC + folk music, but they've kind of ventured past this now. It's kind of hard to describe them, but they're basically crazy folk music. www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=5D8A86543BE51D6Cthe Joggers - Wicked Light Sleeper They sound like the Talking Heads, but less tinny and more guitary. Yes, I know that's a terrible description, but I'm really tired right now. www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=5AD1F3144FB6C832The National - All the Wine This song is from Alligator which was one of the best albums of 2005, and probably the one most slept on. It's fairly standard indie rock, but it burrows into your mind and then 3 weeks later all you want to do is listen to them. I think they're most famous for opening for Clap your hands our band name is retarded. www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=06ABF7AE6F9E34EA

Wilco - "Heavy Metal Drummer" (Goth version)the other half says cheers for this Evan Dando is such a dick. He took the virginity of Bijou Phillips. She's beautiful. Like if Christina Ricci was hotter & less alien-like, thats Bijou Phillips. Why Evan Dando, Bijou? Why?!

U2's new song from their upcoming Greatest Hits album. Window In The SkiesI've only listened to it once. Nice build-up, lame chorus. I could change my mind of course, that was just my first reaction to it.
