No, it's not the Green Day one, that was a remake. It's a new U2 composition.

Thanks Don. I've only got three of those tracks (the Essential Springsteen cut, the live 'mats (or at least I'm assuming it's the same one, it could be a different show, and the Wilco 'mats/Ramones cover). Looking forward to hearing the rest!

If anything good came out of pauledwardwagemann's brief visit here, it was his idea for this thread.
I'm uploading a great Placebo disc of covers. It was included as a bonus disc on a limited edition of Sleeping with Ghosts. It features covers from the likes of Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, the Pixies, Robert Palmer... to Boney M! Most of these songs were previously available as b-sides, but they're all collected in one spot here. I should have the link up in an hour or so...

Don't suppose you've got the whole show by any chance? All I've got is that one track. :(

Fuck it. I decided to upload individual tracks so people can choose the songs they want. No sense in downloading an 80MB file just for a song or two... Here's Placebo's brilliant rocking version of Robert Palmer's "Johnny and Mary". I think I actually prefer this to the original... www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=A7216AE735407401

Would anyone be interested in turning this into a bootleg trading post? I have lots.

I've only got a couple of full shows (U2 from 12/82, the Clash from earlier that same year, I think I've got one from U2 at Sarajevo on the Zooropa tour, too), but I'd be happy to share them with anyone who wants 'em.
I've also got the Travelling Wilburys' first album, for anyone interested in that who didn't get it when it came out back in the eighties. It's long since out of print, and from what I understand it's not likely to be in print again due to copyright problems.

Oh shit ... I forgot all about these:
I've got a Talking Heads show from Tokyo c. Remain in Light. Radiohead this last year, I think from NYC. A couple of Wilco shows from the AGIB tour (including a live version of Theologians, which somehow got left off their Kicking Television live set).
Looking at my iTunes, I've got more than a few of these things, including some hard to find "official" releases (i.e. Elvis Costello live c. '78 and again c. '86) and (like most people) more than a few Pearl Jam official boots.
Yeah, I'm in for any boot swapping you guys want to do.

I don't have too many other than a John Frusciante show I just downloaded, and a few Velvet Underground shows. A couple White Stripes shows too, I think. That's about it. I used to have a lot more. Not sure what happened to all of them.

I only have 2 or 3 tunes from Shit, Shower, & Shave plus maybe twice that from When The Shit Hits The Fans <= prob. my favorite....I have it on vinyl. The 'Mats were they're best when liquored up!!
Aside from the Boss' Agora show, I'm pretty short on complete bootleg concerts, though I have a ton of odd songs. That was kinda my thought behind that last ZIP package...
