Hey Ken, Just wanted to let you know that I kinda dropped the ball on your mixes of short songs and long songs for a little bit there because my computer was perpetually turning itself off. However I have had the problem repaired so I'm gonna get cracking!! I'll just YSI the mixes with track listings and post them here, so anyone can have 'em.... That's OK, M, I haven't done Frag's yet either. And Ryo's still waiting for his "live" mixes, which I now need to add a third (and maybe fourth) disc to b/c of some shit I just got. I'm planning on doing the same thing via YSI or SendSpace w/the set I'm doing for Frag. I'm curious to see what you're going to wind up doing w/ the long songs ... and feel free to leave the Boredoms off either mix!

The Clash, Chaos in New York. This is a complete live show (2 cds) from the legendary Bonds dates in the summer of 1981. Four of these tracks were used on the official From Here to Eternity live disc, and the whole thing is awfully good. Mick's vocal and guitar are both a bit too far back in the mix, but that's a pretty small quibble, really. The best Clash bootleg I've yet heard. Highly recommended. www.sendspace.com/file/honxk4

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Live in Cleveland in '99. This is a soundboard and the quality is quite good, but Bittan's piano is too high in the mix, and the guitars are too far back. Excellent show, though. Bruce was in fine voice. www.sendspace.com/file/tvfx7u

Hey Bow! I was hoping you'd check in here and see that. It's one hell of a show, it really is. I've got another from '79 that I'll probably put up here soon, and a two disc version of Rat Patrol From Fort Bragg! It's Mick's mix of Combat Rock, with a bunch of outtakes, etc. as well, and it is definitely interesting, if nothing else.

Ken, I'm finishing up administering/grading 6 finals so by next week my RS.com time should resume normally/abnormally!..I can hardly wait to hear this Ken oh and Ken, on current listening board, I commented I was listening to Bowie Live really Ken, it is not as bad as you claim..yes, his voice is a bit strained, and there are some very 'arena-rock' moments, but overall, it is a great glimpse into Bowie circa 1974 thank you Ken!!
