OK, you haven't uploaded the stuff yet. Go back to yousendit.com and do the following:
1) You should see the options to enter an email address and a brief message, below that should be a large number 2, and a button labelled "choose file" -- CLICK THIS BUTTON! 2) You should now get a dialogue box that will let you locate the file on your hard disk. Click the file and then click "OK" or whatever the appropriate box to select the file is. 3) Make sure that you've entered someone's email address into the email blank mentioned in (1) above -- doesn't really matter whose, yours, mine, George Dubya Bush's. 4) Click "Send It" -- this will change the screen to one that will show it uploading the file. This can often take 15-30 minutes depending on your connection speed, file size, etc. DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW UNTIL IT HAS FINISHED UPLOADING THE FILE. Once the file is uploaded, the window will change to another screen saying that your file has been sent and giving you the link. You'll also get an email with the link. 5) Post that link here for all to enjoy.

No problem Phil. This is why I (still) think that teaching of some sort is my natural calling.
I'm downloading the file now ... I'll let you know in about 10 minutes if it worked OK.

It came through just fine, Phil.
Some of the tracks lost their tags when I added 'em to my iTunes library for some reason, though. It's OK, I can still figure out what's what.
Thanks!

Throwing Muses brilliant rocking track, and probably their most popular song, "Bright Yellow Gun". From the fantastic University album. and Kristin's solo single, "Your Ghost" feat. Michael Stipe, from the album Hips and Makers (already posted on the "other than death metal..." board)

Phil- that Rachid Taha-cover is OK! Have you listened to his latest album, Diwan II?

A friend of mine made me a mix CD of his songs but I don't have any of his albums ... yet !
I'm not sure he'd be pleased to know I've renamed him "Richard" ...
ÔÔPS !!

I have an idiot YSI question. How do I YSI a playlist instead of an album?? Stupid, I know. Talk to me like I'm 2.

OK Mary, the big difference between uploading an entire album and uploading a playlist is that you have to make the folder for the playlist yourself, rather than just copying it from your iTunes music folder. Here's how I do it ... use "open Apple" and "R" in iTunes to find the songs that make up your playlist in Finder. This takes a little while, and as you find each song COPY it to a new folder on your desktop (you can title this folder anything you want -- "playlist" "the wrath of God" whatever) DO NOT MOVE THE SONGS FROM THEIR ORIGINAL FOLDERS (unless you want iTunes to tell you "cannot find the song "xxxxxx" for all these tracks in the future). Once you've got COPIES of all the songs moved into one folder, you can archive that folder into a single .zip file and then upload the whole thing as usual. Now as to how to make sure that the songs stay in proper order when they're downloaded ... not sure about that one (ask Luke for proof!), but that's really a pretty small bother, IMHO. Hope that helps!

Alas, this was actually my major issue - I was annoyed that everything was out of order when I made a folder. But I suppose I can just post the order on here that I'm intending and people can reorder it themselves if they are so inclined... I'm going to make a mix for YOU, Holzman. I felt like the Boredoms were soooooo not an appropriate thing to YSi you, that i wanted to send you something you might actually like!! Cheers, M
