Can't figure out the cancelled cloak, but I've got the second one.

Correct.^^^
Oh, it's not cancelled, I just posted another one because I thought some might fight it too hard. I'll give a couple more clues. It's from the band's debut album and it's the opening track.
Song - Average + half a rug + half of Amp's "favourite" actor's ex-wife's given name.

I'm still drawing a big fat blank there band part of bride's wear + pet MD + prefix of removal + in a major key + dogs do it when angry (some people do too, I guess) + statement indicating pain + stop ^those last few clues are pretty lame, by the way. I apologize song: cheerleader chant + a third of a white-power group + above SD on a map of the states + opponent of Wade + hockey stick letter

Ryo, I can see where you got 'Velvet' from but where did you get the 'Revolver'? Or was that just a wild guess? Maybe its Velvet Underground, although I can't see how that would work either.

Wild guess. Totally.

Looking at it again, carefully this time, I think it is VU. You can take the credit Ryo. If it weren't for your 'velvet' I wouldn't have thought of anything. Do you know the song by any chance? It should be easier now.

Right! I just absentmindedly thought prefix of "removal" = re!

Song - Average + half a rug + half of Amp's "favourite" actor's ex-wife's given name. Since it's been a day (or is it 2?) two more quick clues on this one. 'Average' has more than one meaning to it. The actor in question has been married twice. There's really not much more I can say.

Where are the VU fans around here? I thought there were plenty of them. They should know the song in question. btw, Ryo, you know the band in question with my song. You've mentioned them in a previous post of yours. So you've got no excuse. One FINAL clue. 'Average' (think mathematics)

I know the band? Really? Damn. I have to go meet someone now, so if it still hasn't been solved when I come back, I'll work on it. Problem is, I have no idea who Ampage's favorite actor is, since I'm a a complete ignoramus when it comes to movies, and I never check the movie board.
I'm pretty sure Wade's opponent is roe, but the only VU song I can think of that has that sound is All Tomorrow's Party, and that doesn't seem to work.

Did Frag say that the song cloak is necessarily from the band in the first cloak?
