Have you ever seen this band live? Calexico are coming to Japan in January, which I might go to (though not really sure yet - foreign bands are so expensive to see!), and they're bringing Iron & Wine with them. What are they like?

I love Sub Pop. I actually took a trip to Seattle just to see the original store because in high school I was such an avid fan (and still am) of the label.

I'll probably get a copy of the Iron & Wine disc before the show. And probably some more Calexico too (Garden Ruin is the only CD I have - which I love immensely).

Thanks, Riley. I had a hard time just picking 40 because I like all of their releases in one way or another. I was even a part of the singles club and I have a ton of those as well, which have some pretty bad ass bands. The Fugazi Sub Pop 7Inch is pretty amazing as well as the Rapeman. It's my goal to own every release they have put out.

Ryosuke, please go see Iron and Wine and Calexico. They are amazing and hopefully they will do songs from the collaboration album they did together.

Yeah I didn't know that they had a collaboration album until someone posted it on the listening thread. I'm definitely gonna get that CD and familiarize myself with it before the show.

I wish concerts by foreign bands weren't so damn expensive in Japan. But yeah, I'll go.
