I don't know what kind of crack you're smoking, PEW, but here's the proper track list for Let It Be:
I Will Dare (3:18) Favorite Thing (2:19) We're Coming Out (2:21) Tommy Gets His Tonsils Out (1:53) Androgynous (3:11) Black Diamond (2:40) Unsatisfied (4:01) Seen Your Video (3:08) Gary's Got A Boner (2:28) Sixteen Blue (4:24) Answering Machine (3:40)
The 'mats were such a fucking awesome band.

Really? I'm not even sure how that'd be possible.

All my CDs have two sides.
I don't believe you, Rocky. You're a liar ...

There is more than one Let It Be, Ken. I was referring to the Beatles album by that name that was released in 1970. Have you not heard of it?

Well, PEW you may be talking about some insect related record from the seventies, but all the rest of us here have been discussing the merits of the Replacements, who made a magnificent record by this name in 1984. DED and I agree about the track list -- maybe your copy is defective or something?

Laibach has a album called Let it Be, maybe he's thinking of them? LMAO! That just might be the best album cover parody I've ever seen!

I actually kinda like Don't Tell a Soul. I know this makes me a poser/loser/dork/tasteless ingrate, but really, there was a period back in 2003 (when I bought the album) when I listened to it incessantly. And not just Achin' to Be. I also distinctly remember really liking We'll Inherit the Earth and Anywhere is Better Than Here. I remember thinking the latter would make the perfect soundtrack for a good adolescent angst movie.
Cheers, M

Don't Tell a Soul is a wonderful record -- and both I'll Be You and Telling Me Lies are top-notch Replacements songs. I played We'll Inherit the Earth for a bunch of people back when that album came out -- Army guys all loved it! But as good as it is, DTaS isn't as good as Tim, Pleased to Meet Me, or Let It Be.
Mary -- did you d/l that Inconcerated Live 'mats disc? It's got killer versions of Talent Show and Anywhere is Better Than Here.

I like Don't Tell a Soul (except for a couple stinkers on there). It's just not near the best of their output. A fine album though.
